View Full Version : HCR Custom Clix Contest - FINAL ROUND!

A few months ago, the HCRealms Artisan's Guild came together for the 1st Annual Custom Clix Contest.

The rules were simple: The contestants were each asked to enter a team, much like the Danger Room starter set, that consisted of a pre-built, comic-accurate team.

They created their new sculpts, matched them up with dials that WizKids had produced so that their new creations would be 'tourney legal', added Feats as necessary, and submitted their creations in hopes of winning PayPal gift certificates and LE figures.

Now, the semi-finals are over and it is up to you to help us determine the winner.

Please take a moment to take one more look at each of the entrants below. Look at the mods themselves and, of course, take a look at the team builds. Then, pick the one that you like the best and cast your vote.

The Liberators are getting my vote, great job to all the contestants, some really great customs!

the Invaders are beautiful!

but I can't go agaisnt my heart.

Another vote for the Liberators from me - but all figs were excellent. Shows lots of hard work and artistry.

It was a tough vote between GS X-Men, Liberators and Invaders, buuuuuuuuuuuut X-Men got my vote.

The Russians get my vote : we really need a Darkstar out there, Vangard would be nice too... Although I must say that the Liberators are much nicer to look at. But if a Darkstar is "officialized", I'll get one custom-made to finish my Champions team !!

All the work was great to see but I think the Liberators seem the toughest to beat. Inspiring stuff! I am keen to enter the next such event.

Superfriends are hilarious, but I had to go with The Liberators. Absolutely beautiful mods and paint jobs, and comic-accurate dials.
