I'd definitely take a look at people's trade lists, at the very least. I have some LEs that I don't carry with me to tournaments for trade, because people almost always want the boxes and those are bulky. But if I could just look at somebody's wants list, and spot an LE that I'd be prepared to trade for something that I want - that would be much more convenient.

I don't trade overseas because it's usually simpler to just use eBay, but within Australia would be cool. For people who live locally, it would be even easier - use the forums and PMs to arrange the trade, and then exchange the figures in person. No hassle about who sends first. :)

What do you think the best way to handle this would be? I suspect that all trade threads are supposed to be in the proper forum... posting them here may just get them moved! But it would be helpful to post something here so that any Australians on the forum are sure to notice it.

Maybe an arrangement like this?

Create a normal trade thread in the trading forum.
Maybe add a line like "I'm located in Sydney/Melbourne/etc and prefer trades with other Australians to save on postage"

Sounds good, I'm still happy to trade OS for stuff I can not get, or if both parties are happy with postage. I normally look local first before OS normally anyway.

Our cable network here [we only get 1] has a whole channel devoted to them, called UK-TV

Plus, as much as our PM likes to do rude things with private bits of the us president, we have a much more english sense of humour.

Black Books, Red Dwarf [though the later series kinda lost it], The Office, Little Britain, League of Gentlemen, etc.. all good stuff.

Fine. So I actually have to organise a trades list...
Give me the day and I will have a list up (I hope).

I NEED a few Supernova Figs. Vet SHE HULK is eluding me along with a few bits and pieces. I had a good Christmas, what with the weather and all... but missed the gaming.

I have a few figs so maybe I will have something someone wants.

MR Zero C - I should be at SGC Sunday but I hope to be at Chippo for the Vtes Thursday evening, so I won't hit the Tin Soldier until around then. So what, it is usually 6pm to about 8.30? Good game last time I went. Excellent venue.

Just hitting a new Punching bag (on a steel pole with a heavy duty spring at the bottom, weighed down with water) fun beyond the mental working of the Heroclix board - forever a good idea 4 anyone right now. Excerise rocks, moreso while rocking (though Hip Pop is fine now too, hey it's all good.)

Definately the weather to be inside, working out (with suitable music, of course). Great for us (Heroclix) gamers, No?

Can't wait for the NEW DC set. Now that will be an eye-operner. I thought Supernova was supercool (epecially after Sinister, except for the Bolt's release, of course).

PS - I was thinking of having a party up here at Maroota. I actually love this kind of weather - I seem to get a lot done. Anyone interested? I have a few tables and chairs and maps and stuff (enough for all, I imagine) and a few weeks off before Uni starts up again (not sure when that is, gotta pay for my library fiines to get my results...). Maybe I can have a Heroclix party and then we can chill out after.

PPS ZERO C. What do you think? Got times? You will love my pad. Tre cool but moreso when there is just me on holidays.

I'll hold onto my Supernova duplicates for a few days longer until you get your trade list together, then! I know I can't help you with V She-Hulk, I don't have one myself.

James H and I plan to be at SGC this Sunday (nobody seems to know what the game is supposed to be yet - I'll call the shop tomorrow to find out). By all means drop into the Tin Soldier on your way to VTES, we should still be there until 8pm at least!

Origin has me looking forward to Wesley Dodds as the Sandman. :grin: At least, it better be the Golden Age Sandman, not whoever they've got in the JSA these days.

Some kind of event at your place would be cool, like old times - some planning would be necessary to deal with the transport of course, you're no longer around the corner! Maybe a Saturday... mention it if you drop into TTS tonight. :)

I have added some Avengers haves/wants to my trade list. As I have been quite lucky with my pulls (seven SRs in thirteen boosters? Yeah, I'd say that's pretty good) without too many duplicates, I don't have a lot of haves or wants.

I am finding that it's slightly tricky to trade for the last couple of commons that you need... lots of other people have a spare Gargoyle, but chances are that I don't have any commons that they are after, and who needs duplicates?

I actually pulled my most sought-after super rare (Citizen V!) in the sealed game last night; unlike half the people at my venue I don't particularly mind if I get Spider-Man or not. So I'm happy to trade my spare Quicksilver for any SR that I don't already have.

You can put the link in your signature so that anyone who reads your entries will see it, post it here so that it gets the attention of other Australians, or both.

People are mostly interested in uniques/LEs (from older sets) and super rares (from Avengers/Justice League), so you might want to put those in a prominent position on your Haves/Wants lists.

I have heaps of duplicate commons and uncommons from Justice League. Forty of them, and by this time next week I'll probably have fifty! It really is amazing.

I'm probably going to start assembling extra common+uncommon sets to give away to friends who play clix but whose wives don't let them spend much on the game. :p In the meantime, if there is anything else on my trade list that you are interested in exchanging then keep in mind that I am happy to throw in JL commons and uncommons as bonuses.

The thing with keywords these days, you find yourself looking for Rs and Es that you never used before... :cheeky:

While building a team today I have discovered that I don't have an experienced Black Widow anymore (S.H.I.E.L.D. TA, from Ultimates). I find this difficult to believe because I used to have half a dozen of the things, but I guess I gave them all away.

Does anybody who will be at the Tin Soldier on Thursday night have one that they could trade me? Or at least borrow briefly?

In the units section, on the bottom left corner should have the Inventory options. Also in the units section when you view a figure there are options right under the image such as Want or Have and you just click the little arrow for which is appropriate.

I have almost finished my have/wants, it does have a few quaint features, but start with a small set and experiment.

I have found that using Mass Adjustment on my Haves, then adding my Keeps and finally Mass Adjusting my Wants last works best (I know this will mean nothing to you but try a small set.)

select just one unit, and underneath it's photo you should see the keep, have , want options

The mass adjustment should appear in its own box at the bottom of the units page under the set box in a box called tools

If it is not appearing it may be that java/scripts are turned of on your computer

As some of you know, I do a few mods when I find the time and inspiration. I was hoping that I might be able to help people fill in the gaps in their commons/uncommons/rares in exchange for a few bits and pieces that I need for my mods.

I've updated my H/W button with heaps of commons and uncommons from Secret Invasion/Arkham Asylum, a few rares from those sets, and some miscellanous stuff. There's not much of enormous value there. but I'm willing to trade in your favour if you're sending me a few figures that I need for parts.

Right now I'm looking for:

Starman - need the sculpt (so rookie is fine)

Mr Freeze - need the dial for a mod
Poison Ivy - need the sculpt (so the old version is fine) <- as many as you'd like to give me!

Yeah, I don't need any of the SRs from Brave and the Bold. Any SRs I have from this set will probably be traded for older SRs I need, or possibly used as a bulk trade for chase figures (I don't have any of the four).

My most notewothy Haves are The Flashes, Superman and the Flash, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, and chase E2 Superman.

I don't have any of the Black Lantern chases yet. Of course, as of today I've only bought ten boosters, so that's no great surprise. And I have pulled five SRs in those ten boosters... Ironically, I bought a SR set online in case of bad pulls, so they're all trades.

I don't expect the Black Lanterns to be as hard to get as other old chase figures. Chase figures on Supernova through Crisis were about one in 100 boosters. They were a bit more common on Arkham Asylum (one per two cases), and seem to be about one in 30 boosters in BatB. There are more different Black Lanterns so each individual chase is harder to get, but I don't think they'll stay as expensive as the Zombies or Supermen.

Took me 2 cases, but I have a full set of BATB, and 2 chases, both Kal_L, so a plus and a minus there. Haven't updated my lists yet.

At this point I would be looking for a Martian Manhunter Chase or Nekron Chase as a swap.

It is still available but you would be paying through the nose for it. The cases are a lot more expensive here and then you would have to pay shipping. Not to mention the Australian dollar being high against the USD.

Do you have an approximate price for a sealed case? What store still sells them? I actually live in the Philippines but international shipping will still be involved. BTW, do you get a God Pack for every case? Thanks.

From memory they are about $360-380 AUD a case. Tin Soldier (Sydney) and Kings Comics still sell them. God packs are defenitely not in every case.

Anyone still up for trading?

In addition to my H/W below, I also have some MechWarrior unopened starters (Dark Age) and boosters (Death From Above).
