Wrong coast for us, but WWE is a very short ride away.

We go to the Philly Convention center for many events.

The worlds largest indoor flower show just ended this week.
It was Ireland themed and I will admit that it was very beautiful.

But as a hint to all the men out there who my be married in the future, when at an event like this, at the Phiily Con Center, and the wife asks you "what do you think" the answer is not "I think were 3 months early for WWE", it didn't go over so well.

5 folks from the local game club went out this time around. (Going for the threepeat!) I wanted to make it, as did my wife, but we've got a huge trip coming up in a few weeks to Indonesia and just couldn't work it out. They're way more into the Invitational tourney scene than I am anyway, so I probably would've wanted to do other LA things anyway. :p

Actually I've never been to a comic-con and the closest I got to "game-cons" was when I went to Grand Prix or PT's for Magic way back when I still had the time and freedom to do so; never really was a "convention-type" I guess, in large part due to where I live(d) and my scheduling.

At least once in my life I really should get out to one of these big conventions but unfortunately, it's not looking like it will be any time soon.

The job got in the way...which sucks, 'cause not only would it have been my first Con trip, but I won the local Invitational.

*sigh* Maybe next year, when I can actually put in for a week of vacation time...

I'm at work...getting ready to go get Chinese for lunch...being sad that this is the last Work day of Spring Break, so Monday I'll have a lot more students to work with. But what they hey, we're gonna have a "Staff Meeting" at 2:30 right in front of a Big TV!!!
