So, our next film, Classic or Crud, Hit or Miss, what say you ALL?

Our next film open for discussion, and ultimately an Overall RATING by you all:

BACK TO THE FUTURE PART II
rRrSp6Pqlz4

Let the discussions flow. Likes, dislikes, classic film or overhyped trash, and DONT FORGET to place an Overall Rating when youre done.

Its easy, just give a Rating from 1 (Jaws 4:The Revenge) to 10 (Jaws), and thats it. Course I'd love to have you all give reasons as to why you feel it deserves this Overall Rating, and more than encourage discussions with us all about them.

So, what say you all?

Ive said it before, and Ill say it again, the Back To The Future trilogy may not be in my Top 5 ever, maybe not even in my Top 10 All Time, but darn were they a Fun and Enjoyable series of movies. Truth be told, Parts 2 and 3 just borrowed half of what the Classic 1 was (2 had the high school issues, and 3 had the got to get the car to 88 and get home situation) Of course there was alot more than that to either of them, and while it could be discussed on how time travel was used there, you could also sit back, relax and have a great time at the movies. Seeing scenes from part 1 in part 2, but from a different angle, from a new perspective, very cool. Trips to the future (Jaws 23 was it?), to the present (Hell Valley), and to the past again (to that classic Enchantment Under The Sea Dance). This was a fun time to be had by anyone who enjoyed the first one, and while it didnt have its own ending (more of a cliffhanger than anything), and wasnt as original as BTTF1, it was still a very enjoyable film, and a great addition to one of the most fun movie trilogies ever.

Back To The Future Part II - 8.25 / 10

I gotta go with Danno on this one. The first BTTF was fun, but the second edged it out a bit for the action it had.

8.25/10

Oh dont get me wrong, the first one is easily the best of the three IMO, but I do ackonwledge this trilogy as a whole to truly be one of the most fun Ive ever seen. :)

I liked the second one more. Notice how I gave it .25 more than the first.

As good if not better than the outstanding original. It is my personal favourite in the trilogy, I am still deeply dissapointed that they never made actual hoverboards.

The first one was very entertaining and a welcome addition to my movie collection.... especially the happenin' 80's fashions.
howver, the 2nd movie is incredible. I thought it was fantastically clever and the temporal paradox potentialities with the two Marties and the scenes..... as someone who is always fascinated by the concepts of time travel I'm going to give this one a 10..... but deduct 1 point because this was the one where Christopher Lloyds character really, really began to get on my nerves........ can we all have a
Great Scott!!!!! together?
sheesh.

I love the Back to the Future trilogy a lot. I could watch all of them over and over again.

That being said, number 2 was probably my least favorite of all of them. The scene with Marty's family in the future was depressing and creepy, and the parts with the town being overrun with hoodlums and run by the mob, headed by Biff, unsettled me.

1 and 3 were much much better, IMO. The only saving grace of this movie was the hoverboard.

Nevertheless, it is a Back to the Future, which does bring it up to a certain level.

The first was best and I'd give it an 8. For this, the second one, it gets a 7.

I did not like this one as well. I would still watch it if I had nothing else to do. 5.5 out of 10.
