View Full Version : Australia (AU) anyone heard anything from crofty lately?
just wondering whether anyones had many more luck getting any kind of info from them? Got no prize support for june or july at unlimited hobbies. Still got no idea whether we're going to manage to get the galactus events or not. 3 days to go and no sign up or any indication it's coming. They could've at least let vickey finish coordinating them before they punted her. Getting really antsy that we'll be shafted yet again. We did find out that the $25 they qouted as the price for avengers boosters was wrong, they are only going up a couple of dollars at most. My venue owner did say that crofty are moving warehouses and that's why nothings happened. Freakshow being late doesn't exactly inspire confidence either. we've STILL not seen days of future past or hellboy out my way either.

Our venue hasn't received any new prize support lately - the most recent was Animal Master and Michael Carter. They were able to get Hellboy sets in, finally.
Our judge is also having difficulties organising the Galactus tournaments.
According to the Croftminster forums (http://forums.croftminster.com.au/showthread.php?t=9141) (posted 8 June) they are indeed moving warehouses. Apparently Renato is taking on OP duties for the time being, but I don't have any contact details to give you there.
That's good news on the Avengers price, though.
Yep, that's the same bunch of prize support we last got. Glad it's not just me getting the silent treatment. I had read that renato was taking over organised play, but I also think he said he's not going to be able to devote much attention to it. No hellboy for us although my venue did get an invincibles pack and a dark phoenix strangely. My venue owner still didn't really know anything about what he needed to do for the COG events the weekend before last.

They have been in contact with one of my LBMS letting them know that Avengers is coming soon.
One of the stores I visit has a couple of Hellboy packs, the other nada.

My local managed to get a bunch of stuff in, but it only came in in the last week (freak show, aliens, predator, plus more hellboy). no word on anything else thou

We don't have Freakshow over in the west, I don't if that is because no one ordered it, or it hasn't arrived. I got curious about it after seeing pictures of the Flying Monkeys and Wacko Jacko.

I only picked up on booster at a con this weekend (they had only just got it in), as the circus is not my thing, and was pleasently surprised to find a U Tracker (Pith helmet, safari suited tracker with a blood hound) and a big F'off Tiger in the style of the orig ghostrider (looks over balanced but stands very well).
The predator and aliens are unbeliveable. highly recomend them.

Yeah, I got the Alien and Predator sets from Croftminster earlier in the year, the Predators are cool.
I picked up the Alien Queen as well, she is cool, I hope that they sneak a woman in a mobile exo-armour suit into a future set of Horrorclix.

I haven't seen any of the collector's sets around here - I might be tempted to pick one up if I saw it in a store.
