Anyone here get their BiBtB figures from Crofty?

When I sent in my voucher and receipt and whatnot for Cosmic Doom and Venom I just bypasses Crofty and sent it straight to Wizkids in the States, and copped the exorbitant overseas shipping charge.

I know that Crofty had problems with these figures in the past and was wondering what everyone's experiences have been with them. I'm not overly fussed about Mandarin, so was thinking I'd try that route this time, if at all.

What is the process for sending it in?

I mailed my coupon to the U.S. for Beyonder Doom, and it turned out to be the smart thing to do. If I'd waited for Croftminster then I would never have seen him at all.

I'm not bothering to get the Mandarin, so I can't help you there!

I'm thinking of going the US way as well, for the Cloaked Predator from Croftminster it was one per customer whereas I can get two mandarins (one to trade) from a case from the US.

As to the process I glue the UPCs (booster bottoms) to a sheet of paper, fill out the form, post off the letter and sit and wait. Eventually a box turns up.

For the Australian process you have to wait until Croftminster put a form up for printing off. Since noone on the Crofts forums has asked, they haven't needed to build the form.

I know this is quite a late reply, but anyway.

Since the whole Cosmic Doom fiasco, I've been sending away to the US for the brick figs, and have had no probs getting my Origins Dr Fates or my Avengers Mandarins.

I'm probably going to send away this week for the JL Phantom Strangers.

I haven't got any BiBtB figs since Venom. Both he and Doom I got straight from the US with no problems (except for the ridiculous overseas postage charge).

I haven't been interested enough in the recent figs to bother, but would like Dark Beast, so I think I'll go the US route again. Seems much safer.

I bought two bricks of Supernova, so I planned to get one Beyonder Doom from the U.S. (so I'd get it faster) and one from Croftminster (so I could order the 2099 set more cheaply). Obviously I only got the Doom from the States.

I wasn't particularly interested in Dr. Fate or Mandarin so I skipped them. I would trade for them perhaps, otherwise I'm not worried. But I do want the Beyonder, so I mailed my coupon to the U.S.

Croftminster has been very slack about HeroClix redemptions for at least a year. At times they weren't responding to queries (largely due to having nobody dedicated to that kind of thing), and at times they were just incredibly inconsistent. (I could order 2099, then I couldn't... then I was offered a Cthulhu instead, then I couldn't because I'd sent a SN coupon... then an Invincible boxed set instead, but I was never charged for it and it never appeared. I'm not the only person who got a run-around like this.)

I have an idea about why this has been the case, but it could be considered personal gossip so I'll leave it to one side. If you want a particular redempton, suck it up and pay the shipping cost from the States. Frankly, the extra couple of dollars means that you'll actually get the figure.
