Just figured I'd get a head-start on signups... for those that have been following the Mafia threads, my next game will be a DC-themed Mafia game: Mafia Crisis. The world's greatest heroes have been gathered together... but other worlds are jealous of New Earth's role in the new cosmos, and are trying to take it over by wiping out the Earth's heroes. Can New Earth's heroes put a stop to this cross-world attack?
Previous games have been in the 18-19 people range, so we'll leave this open until we get at least that far...

Oh, c'mon, the last batch of characters wasn't that obscure. I've heard of all of them.
Er, or it could mean that I have way too many comics. One or the other but I'm going to stick up for Peers in the hopes of getting one of my faves this time. :laugh:

Finally, there will be much more strict enforcement of the "Don't post anything if you're dead" policy.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have at least three more roles to write up -- I only had 19 ready to go...

The no talking at night's gonna screw me up, but I guess extra long days make up for that.

Does that man a majority won't end the phase? Do you still need a majority to lynch or just the most votes?

Yeah, I agree with that one. My thread was getting a bit crazy with that.
I'm sure you'll still need a majority to end the phase. It's just that you have 24 more hours to get your vote in.
And though the temptation is great to talk during your death or incarceration, I definitely understand why you can't do it.

... Only if you don't want roles. Still working out balance. The Mafia's supposed to have an advantage via communication, not via being more powerful, but at the same time they need to be able to do what they need to do, so... I don't want to handicap anyone.

Well, it's mighty tempting, but considering that I have pretty much no experience with these things (I had never even heard of Mafia before I played in Peers game), I'm not sure that would be such a good idea...

Can't be killed at night because he's bullet proof. Can't be lynched during the day because, hey, he's Superman. Can track the mafia and their plans each night with his super hearing and x-ray vision. Can stop a mafia kill each night because he's faster than a speeding bullet.
I think that'd be awesome.

Did it with friends and it was pretty good.

We'll, you'll get a PM outlining your role. The thread will be posted and day one will happen (No one will be lynched. It's not a rule thing, people just don't on the first day.) and night one will happen. You will PM Peers, outlining what you do during the night. The next morning, we get the results and then the real lynching begins.
The process repeats until one group controls the majority of the board and is proclaimed the winner.

Well, charlesz is my alternate-Earth evil counterpart. If you meant charlesx, then, you didn't miss me after all. ;)
Man, these get bigger and bigger each time.
(And the funny thing was the last game was waaay faster than the first one)
Last one was designed to go faster... and still didn't go as fast as it could have. There was a potential for there to be three mafias up and running on Day 3, plus the SK and vigilante, for a total of five kills that night.
This one should go a little slower, with more access to information gained via night powers, so there should be more paranoia with less bloodshed.
Having said that, the powerful roles will all die quickly the first night. *shrug*

This is DC. There isn't an alternate Earth, just a Bizarro world.
