How do you get an Animated Avvie?

I've found some good animated .gifs and stuff, and they're 100x100, but when I upload them, they don't move.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Can anyone help?

Links? They may be too large of a file.

I made mine, and I had to take out a few frames to keep the size down.
