Finally, a place where I can talk about my Bravos and the heartache that they seem to cause me year after year. :(

Anyone share my love for the Braves!?

*Haters need not apply. :P

I'm a Braves/Yankees fan. Random, huh?

So how about Renteria. That hurts so badly. First pitch he re-tweaks his ankle:confused:

Man, he was a major part of the line-up.

Boo to the Braves! Go Phills, even though they sucked tonight.

The Phil's lost Cole Hamel's, the ###### of a manger won't allow Myer's to start, and Utley will never swing the bat the same.

Phil's are outta the race. Boooo Phil's

Go Braves!

Mets are falling apart. This is the Brave's chance to pounce.....

The Mets will hold.

I just got to keep telling myself that.

The Mets will hold.

Followed the Braves since the Murphy/Horner days. You know, when they pretty much stunk.

Anyway, it's looking tough for them this year. They've got a lot of young talent, but they have got a lot of catching up to do for either the East crown or the wild card.
Personally, I think they should have traded Thorman when his value was at his highest. It's tough to argue with their player assessments, as they're usually spot on, but I just see him turning out to be a big bust. Of course, I've certainly been wrong before which is probably why I'm not running a team. :p

They had a good year ... then the injuries hit and I feel like no one is really playing 100%. Granted, Chipper playing at 80% is still better than anyone they could call up from AAA. It's always something though. Renteria being gone again hurts ... but Escobar is a good prospect; REALLY GOOD.

We'll have to see how the Mets/Padres finish up and the Phils/Padres series go. The next 2 weeks are pretty key. God it's getting good!

I will certainly agree with you here. He's showing quite a bit this year. It's going to be too bad for Johnson that Escobar is going to take his position away from him as Johnson has had a pretty decent year at second. But Escobar is certainly not moving Chipper or Edgar off their positions and Tex has certainly put his stamp on first. Although it would be nice to have someone with Kelly's abilities coming off the bench as a supersub for the infield positions.
