"Thing from Another World" game -- the sequel

This will work pretty much the same as last time--we need 12 volunteers to serve on a remote Antarctic research station.

But, horribly, one of you has been absorbed by a shape-changing alien!! That alien will gradually be absorbing others until either all aliens are identified and destroyed or all humans are absorbed. It's up to you to stop this horrible alien invasion attempt before the merciless things find a way to reach civilization and wipe out mankind!!!!!!!

When we have 12 volunteers, one of them will be randomly chosen to be the alien. Not even the alien will know who which one he is.

Each turn, one of you will be able to pick someone (including yourself) to perform a blood test on. If the test is positive, then the alien is destroyed.

After the blood test, there will be a 60% chance of one other randomly chosen person being absorbed and turned into an alien. So, after the first round (unless you get lucky and whack the alien first time out) you'll never know for sure how many of you are aliens.

At any time, 4 or more of you can vote to kill someone off just in case he/she is an alien.

If there is ever only one human remaining, the odds of that person being absorbed is reduced to 20%.

The game ends when either the humans or the aliens are wiped out.

Actually, it's more a case of starting to burn folks that aren't tested while getting the message to superbleeder that he'd better hurry it up. While I joke about burning folks who are going too slow, I'd rather not actually start that yet as it can set a scary precedent for those that can't keep up on the game 24/7 (on the other hand, I feel for "quick games" like this, you should only sign up if you're going to be able to take your turn quickly when it swings around to you...this isn't meant to be like Mafia and drag out for weeks).
