The thread where those of us (probably only me and AlienFlanders) who love Ted Nugent congregate to discuss his awesomeness. After all, just check my "Occupation" in my profile. That says it all. ;)

By the way: Does anyone know if 9/4/07 is the official release date for "Love Grenade"?

Great, the day classes start . . . :tired:

Well, hopefully I can get out to the store SOMETIME that week.

Hey; I can get into Ted Nugent too, amigo! I never get tired of hearing "Stranglehold" and "Great White Buffalo". Have you guys heard "Fred Bear"? That song was supposed to be sold only in sporting goods stores for a while. I went into one looking for it once and they all thought I was nuts.

Fred Bear is on Spirit of Wild (1995) and the DVD Full Bluntal Nugity Live.

My wife used to hate him, but after making her watch his cable show, I managed to turn it into grudging respect. I have always liked the Motor City MadMan however.

Yeah, I've got "Spirit of the Wild", but before he released that it was supposed to be available at sporting goods stores.

Yeah "Fred Bear" is probably one of my favorites (especially live), but nothing tops "Great White Buffalo". Have you heard the recording of GWB on Hunt Music? 10x better than the regular studio version.

I haven't heard that version, but I'd like to.

Which show? He had 2 (3 actually, but Spirit Of The Wild TV wasn't really a "reality" show), "Wanted Ted Or Alive" on OLN/VS and "Surviving Nugent" on VH1. Both were awesome in my opinion.

What about "SuperGroup?"

What about "SuperGroup?"
I meant HIS shows. Even if he was the greatest musician on SuperGroup (Jason Bonham is only half-God), I wasn't categorizing it as his show. Coule be though . . .

For older stuff, give a listen to "Stranglehold (http://youtube.com/watch?v=U7dR8-3Nc0M)". Nuge at his finest.

What Ted was doing in the 60's: Journey to the Centre of your Mind (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7vX7fTKbTM)

If you get the chance listen to his remake of "Journey To The Center Of The Mind" on "Love Grenade". It kicks so much Nuge-arse that it's great.

Not yet, our local stores order biannually apparently, so it would have to be a special order, I ain't paying $40+ for something I can order cheaper direct from the US that will get to me quicker.

I shook his hand once.... dude has a f@##$$%^g grip like steel. Would need to have with what I'm sure is a tremendous draw weight on his bows......

I was always kinda partial to Free for All.
