I like xkcd.com . The ‘art’ is just stick figures, but the author has a surprising wide range for just using stick figures. The comic is more nerdy, about programming, math and sometimes metaphysics. But it’s always funny.

I also just got turned on to Penny Arcade from an article in Wired magazine. I’m not a (video) gamer, but most of my friends are, so I still get all the jokes. Funny comic, rarely profound, but well done. :)

8-Bit Theatre is one of my favorites.

A Modest Destiny and Starship Destiny over on squidi.net were some of my favorites, until the author started taking himself and his art a little too seriously. Which is a shame, because I really wanted to see how AMD was going to end.

The Undertaker's Daughter is written by HCRealms member, and Joshua Jackson look-a-like: Epalicki. There's a link to his comic in my sig.

Penny Arcade.
Perry Bible Fellowship.
8-Bit Theater.
VGcats (sometimes).

Anything EXCEPT Ctrl-Alt-Del. That is the most unfunny, talentless webcomic evern unleashed on the interbutts.

I have no interest in D&D, but the Order of the Stick can be kinda funny.

And VGCats wins. Period.

Not always funny, but it's one of the few not mentioned above.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. (http://www.smbc-comics.com/) (I'm so nice I'm even linking it!)

I like Questionable Content,

Order of the Stick,

and Perry Bible Fellowship.

I should also mention Achewood, of which: you will either get it and love it or not get it at all.

Finally, if you are a Firefly/Serenity fan, you should read "Notes on a fridge (on a spaceship) (http://www.webcomicsnation.com/serenitytales/st_passingnotes/series.php)".

I like a lot of webcomics, and look at several of the ones listed.

However, there's only one I've subscribed to and have e-mailed to me every day so I don't miss one, and that's Unshelved (http://www.unshelved.com/).

For game related fun comics:

Turn Signals on a Land Raider www.tsoalr.com

Dork Tower has already been mentioned, as well as Girl Genius (and the writer? She's gorgeous! Phil can kick my rear the next time I see them!)

For White Sox fans and baseball fans alike, I recommend "Palehose 7" and "Palehose 6," which parodies the trials and times of the White Sox.

Stuff I read regularly:

Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/) (needs no introduction)
PvP (http://www.pvponline.com/)
Starslip Crisis (http://www.starslipcrisis.com/) (great sci fi strip)
Shortpacked! (http://www.shortpacked.com/) (solid series focused mostly on toys and toy collecting...run a search on "batman")

I don't dig a lot of the web comics out there but Weebls and Homesart Runner are awesome for animated stuff.

Irregular Webcomic is possibly the most unintentionally educational webcomic out there. Also features some amazingly bad puns that make even me groan.

Sluggy Freelance... has seen better days, but is still going strong after ten years.

Ctrl-Alt-Del isn't as bad as some people here say it is. It has occasional flashes of brilliance.

Questionable Content does for indy music what Penny Arcade does for gamers... well, not quite so much anymore, but there's still the occasional music reference.

I recently got turned on to Misfile, which is good if you can stand manga-ized artwork and a stroy about a stoner angel who accidently turns a boy into a girl and causes another girl to have to 'do-over' the last two years of her life... and the only way to fix it is for them to find a way to get him his job back.

Shortpacked is awesome (especially the Batman jokes) but he's taking a hard left turn into drama right now, so...

Right now, the only ones I read every-single-day-without-fail are Sluggy, QC, and Misfile... Sluggy because I have every day for eight years now, the other two due to quality... Irregular Webcomic updates daily, even on weekends, so it's easy to miss a day here and there... but I'd argue it's the most consistently good of the bunch...

No Castlevania RPG or DSWC, that stuff can be funny sometimes.

I read several of the forementioned comics daily (or at least check them) QC, PVP, PA, Shortpacked!, all great stuff.

Here are a few more:
dieselsweeties (http://dieselsweeties.com/) Very Punny, sometimes hit or miss, lots of pop culture references
dr.mcninja (http://drmcninja.com/index.html) Weird Funny about a ninja who is a doctor. More of a comic book released page by page.
lilformers (http://www.lilformers.com/home.php) Transformers jokes. If you know your transformers, you'll find this funny, plus the drawings are cute.

PvP has already been mentioned. One of my favorite comics. So is Lil 'Formers. I'd also check out:

Liberty Meadows (http://www.libertymeadows.com/uncens.htm) (This is why I never complained about Mighty Avengers being late all the time... I think Frank Cho's art is worth the wait.)

They Do Not Die (http://theydonotdie.ambrosiapublishing.com/) (If you're a fan of the old EC horror books, or the movie "Creepshow," you may like this strip. The pacing is a little slow for my taste, though, but I love the creepy feel of this strip.)

The Hostess Page (http://www.seanbaby.com/hostess.htm) (Some dude collected all those old Hostess snack advertisements that used to run in all the comic books back in the day.)

Ahh! I thought of another one. This is for all you miniatures/40K players out there.

Turn Signals on a Land Raider (http://tsoalr.com/view.php?date=2003-09-01) - Warhammer 40k based, but pretty much any tabletop gamer can identify with it.

I hear great things about The Adventures of Germy The Bear (http://germythebear.blogspot.com/).

And now that it is too cold for soccer perhaps the guys who make it will get back to it.

P.S. You have to start at number one for it to make even a little bit of sense, though there are only 10 and they are sunday morning comic size so it isn't much of a read.

P.P.S. This is a shameless plug for my own webcomic, but check it out anyway, it has gotten fair to middling responses from all seven people that have looked at it.

My two favorites at the moment are:

Sinfest (http://www.sinfest.net): It's updated pretty much daily and is usually pretty damn good. You don't need to read it from the beginning, but I recommend reading every one of the strips.

Dave & Vyacheslav (http://www.bjorn-comic.com/dandv/index.htm): It's updated roughly on a weekly schedule, it's pretty damn good.

I use to read Sam & Fuzzy (http://www.samandfuzzy.com) and keep meaning to catch back up with it.

Penny Arcade is pretty decent usually too.

I had my own webcomic about Final Fantasy 3 (6 to most people), but I lost the motivation to do anything with it.

Terror Island commands you read it! (http://www.terrorisland.net/strips/001.html)
I also happen to enjoy Bitmap World (http://www.bitmapworld.com/smcomic2.cgi?a=1)

Oh, and, uh...while I'm at it, my brother is reminding me that I told him I'd try and spread around information about his attempt (http://www.freewebs.com/burnakitty/mycomics.htm) at a webcomic he's just started. Though I've read some of his comics he hasn't posted yet, and some of them are pretty funny.

This comic strip is BRILLIANT! I've spent the last 3 or 4 days reading ALL OF THEM! The only thing is that now I can only read 1 a day:mad:. This strip is better than Penny Arcade, comes out 6 times a week, has great art, a very likable main character, and a quirky cast. What's not to love?
