My friend and I just aquirred a Thanos, and I want to run him in a 300pt, restricted game that is coming up. I dont have a R Green Flame, so it is not an option. So I ask, what goes great with this guy?
Here is what I have so far.
U Thanos 267
-Protected 8
-Shellhead 10
-Lucky Break 5
Protected and Shellhead are just about mandatory. I threw Lucky Break on there because with No PC on this team. (YES, I know that Thanos gets it late in his dial, but Critical Misses BLOW!) With 10 points left, idk what to put on there. *these are just what I was thinking, if you ran some completely different feats on him, then fell free to tell me* Any help, suggestions, or reminising of past experiences of him kicking butt and taking names is greatly appreciated!

Drop the lucky break. that should give you a 15 pt allowance. Put the feat card Thwart on him. That way you match up against say a superman. you can outwit his HSS, to keep him in one place. thwart his protected, which any big gun carries in his back pocket these days, a then drill him, over and over again. he has to waste an action to remove the thwart from his protected but with Thanos he can't afford to give up actions in that manner. just a thought.
good luck

Nanoarmor- A great boon to any one man army fig.

swingline lets you ignore hindering for movement... once he loses phasing it becomes kinda useful. Swingline also gives fliers earthbound when they get hit by Thanos.
also he gains a +1 to his movement

Thanos was meant to have Protected and Repulsor Shield for an even 300 points if you ask me. You're more likely to lose to a swarm team than a tent-pole as Thanos is so powerful one-on-one. A swarm team with Psychic Blast or RCE could do some serious damage, and there's nothing you're gonna do about it.

I have to agree. His point total with repulsor shield and protected is an even 300. This knocks out a couple of big damage dealers like pyschic blast and RCE. Shellhead is good, but this set of feats makes dealing damage to Thanos a lot harder.

I will 3rd the call for Repuls and Protected.
Not getting sniped by stealthy rangers (Sheild Snipers, and such) is how Thanos collects the Infinity Gems right.
Stealth will always be a problem, but limiting a stealth team to needing 3+ damage pieces limits options.
And if it's NGN Supes... just get in his face. You'll win that fight more than likely.

Awesome, you got Thanos. Do the Thanos Dance!!
I'd go with repulsor shield and protected on this one too.
Shellhead is awesome on him, but the points just don't work out.

Before retirement my Thanos ran Protected, Shellhead, Lucky Break, and Swingline. Now that Swingline is gone, I'm partial to the Protected/Repulsor Shields coupling.

The only problem is that Thanos cannot fly, so FBM is having to haul ### on his own. Well seeing as it is a Landslide victory, looks like I will be running Thanos with Repulsor Shield and Protected. Thanks for everyones help!

One of the Top 8 players at Gencon was the British National Champion, and all he played was Thanos with feats. I know for a fact he had nanoarmor and protected, but unfortunately I cant remember what feats he had beyond that.
If played shrewdly the Titan can be a monster though, good luck to you.
