There you go, I hate it when I don't get responses to my thread too. I teased some people who finally responded to my country threads to look out for the cobwebs.
But I'll tell you what, I'll never close a thread because if you leave the bait out long enough you'll eventually hook someone. I'd hate to see the music forums run off someone with your peculiar wit due to neglect.
I can't listen to your link right now because someone's trying to sleep but I've heard other Evanescence songs (I believe my daughter owns at least one CD) and I liked them.
Feel free to inject some Carlos into some of these other threads amigo. They could use a sense of humor.
Have you ever considered stand up comedy?

HA HA!
I'm more of the kind of write short fun storys. I won some awards in my country, nothing great, but it give me the change to know some "states' of my country.
I still waiting for Rez's Balls to share some of my ideas! and my acting voice. :p
I will take a look in some others music threads. thanks!

I don't know how much of a music fan you are but have you thought about voting in the rock wars threads in the arena. It could use some new blood and you'll discover a wide variety of music you may not be familiar with but discover you like.

I'm watching some threads now. maybe I do that.
for now I recomend you to take a look in the web page pandora.com
it is awsome. you choise what music you like or not and you discover new songs what may like you. I have that page like "background" with "my" music almost all the time.

You know Carlos, what impresses me most about you is your ability to translate your peculiar brand of humor despite an apparent difficulty with the English language, unless the fractured English is part of your comedy style.
You know, they ought to have a comedy thread.

lol unfortunately my "injured to death" english is not part of my kind of humor. but I use some tricks with that to made some jokes sometimes.
my kind of humor is ambiguous, with hides messages all the time, and my injured english help. like a comedy when the words are inteligent and funny but ALSO the stars fall and punch each other (like my english), soo the words point to the inteligents and try to surprise the adults and my bad english (like the "falls" and "punchs") point to the younger people. you can't go wrong when you do that. :p
in other countrys humor is about exaggerated things. in USA humor is more about a secret share what just a "few" informed people will undestend. people here enjoy more a joke when they think what not everybody will undestend the joke. :p that made people feel great.
I spend a few years in realise how different is humor here in USA but humor is still, universal.

I'm aware that sometimes my jokes fall on deaf ears, and I have no doubt that there are a lot of jokes out there that I am deaf to. But that's part of the joke's fun, to see if anyone gets it. It ruins the joke if you have to stop and explain it. I recently had to explain my joke to someone on a different thread about the JLA movie to someone who was unfamiliar with the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. This is why I never telegraph if I'm joking in a thread with a smiley face. I want to see if they get it.
Unless, Im afraid they might take it the wrong way and be insulted.
P.S. I hate laugh tracks.

My daughter is a huge Evanescence fan. I bought her an autographed CD of Amy Lee's. She also likes Megan McCauley and Nightwish. She likes Paramore too. I'm gonna have to take her to a concert soon. I take my son but that's because him and I have similar tastes. That's my bad :(

My stepdaughter introduced me to Evanescence (fair's fair- I introduced her to Iron Maiden), and I was impressed.
They're unique, and Amy Lee has one amazing voice. Plus the fact that she's a looker doesn't hurt at all... :D
