Hi here's a new simple game, one which might be very interesting! I will start by naming a single comic book character. The next post should name a single comic book character they hate MORE than that character, but only just a little bit more. And then repeat this procedure for every post. Eventually, we should get to the most despised comic book character in all of creation as the thread winds down.

Let's say I post Superman, then someone says they hate Wolverine just a little bit more than Supes. Then the next person says they hate Batman just a little bit more than Wolverine, etc... Just don't jump from Superman to your most despised character because then the game will end quickly! Also, don't do 2 posts in a row because that will ruin things, too!

Okay, here we go with the first name!!! Use their secret identity if you know it as well, because of the different versions of certain characters!

If you read Rogue War, Heat Wave is actually pretty interesting.

Mojo can be annoying and Anarky isn't the coolest character out there, but I doubt people would vote to kill them off. You know, like people voted that they would rather Jason Todd die than read another comic with him involved? Remember that? I'd say that puts Todd in the top 10 most hated comic book characters of all time.

Throw in his poor character motivation (why was he working with the Joker during Hush?), vengeful streak despite the nature of his death (died trying to save his mother even though she betrayed him), and the fact that Batman flat out deduced that the person he fought during Hush couldn't possibly be a resurrected Jason Todd (didn't know Batman's name and fought with Dick, not Jason's fighting style) and I'm surpised that the editors approved the return of Jason at all.

Keeping it in the family, I say I hate Scarlet Witch more than Nocturne.

Ha, ha, it's pretty bad when we're down to the level of comparing Jason Todd and Mojo on who's more popular!!! :) Honestly, I do know that Jason Todd is hated by a great number of comic fans (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me), but I would venture that he also has more diehard fans than Mojo or Anarky or Heatwave especially. It's kind of like the wrestling analogy, people hate the bad guys, but they also love to hate the bad guys, Hulk Hogan in his NWO days, Triple H, and then even pure bad guys like The Iron Shiek back in the day.

Even John Cena is HATED by many wrestling fans today, but there are a significant # of fans that love him! I'd put Jason Todd in the John Cena category, especially in his current incarnation, wheras Anarky and Heat Wave would be in the dark matches or curtain-jerker category... Mojo, well, I'm just not sure where he would fall. :)

Hey, it took me a bit to compile all the things wrong with Jason Todd. :cheeky:

Honestly, I do know that Jason Todd is hated by a great number of comic fans (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me), but I would venture that he also has more diehard fans than Mojo or Anarky or Heatwave especially.

I honestly didn't mind Todd as Robin (though he wasn't as cool as Dick or Tim), I just really hate him as the Red Hood. Its an interesting concept for a villain, I suppose, but everything he has done as the RH has been one big continuity error even if you accept Superboy Prime punching reality as a perfectly logical reason to resurrect a character.

I'm sure he has a bigger following than Mojo or Anarky, but there seem to be quite a few more people that like the Flash Rogues as a whole than Jason Todd fans.


Anyway, there are plenty of people whom I put below Quicksilver and appropriately enough, I'll go with Ultimate Quicksilver.

mach (1,2,3,4,etc.) and beetle are the same person. when the avengers were absent (due to an evil warlock, dimensional vortex, etc.) there was a power vacuum. baron zemo (the new one) said to some villains "hey, let's take their places and gain the public's trust, but lets change our names and costumes so they don't see we're really the masters of evil" so baron z and some other MoE changed the name and costume (though not the powers or gimmick:
