My daughter wanted to know who sang the song in the new Ipod Nano commercial. I-Pod Nano commercial (http://youtube.com/watch?v=J6nTgfS6EiY) I found the song the song; it's by an artist named Feist. Anyone know anything more about her?

What I can tell you is that Kot and DeRogatis (the guys on Sound Opinions, an excellent NPR show that's by music snobs for music snobs) absolutely trashed her new album. They threw out the holy trifecta of negatives - derivative, a step back from her last album, and lyrically weak. She's gone from an alt rock chanteuse in the vein of Neko Case to a Billie Holiday wannabe. Personally, I didn't think it was so bad. Kinda forgettable, but easily digestible - sort of a house salad of pop music.
