I moved from New York to Florida back in the 80s when Patrick Ewing ruled the roost while playing for the NY Knicks. When Miami got a Basketball team, I supported them, but still hung on every John Starks miss against Houston and Ewing Finger-roll and Allan Houston banking one in. Now I'm disgusted to be a fan of the Knicks. I've been keeping up with the whole trial and Isaiah and even Stephon Marbury. The Knicks need to clean house and the first thing they have to do is stop being an embarrasment to the city of New York and to the NBA. They have to dump Thomas and even Marbury. It'll take 5-8 years to rebuild the franchise but if they're smart, they'll stop trading away every draft pick and rebuilding with quality draft picks and trades that make financial sense.

The more I hear about the case against Thomas, the more it sounds like the woman was a bad employee who is making stuf up to make some money.

That said the Knicks are awful and Isiah should probably go just because he isn't doing a very good job putting a solid team on the floor.

I've been largely ignoring the trail. I'm just tired of celebreality at this point. Still as a Knicks fan, it pains me to see the product that being put out on the floor for the past 7 years. Dolan needs to sell the team to someone that cares. Since it looks to me that a lot of the current crop of problems comes directly from the top.

If only they went with the youth they've had the past few years. Build a core around Nate Robinson, David Lee, and Channing Frye. Instead, overpaid and poor defensive players get the floor time. Eddy Curry, Jamal Crawford, and Marbury have to go. Now they trade for Zach Randolph. Was Curry not enough of a slouch on the defensive end? Randolph can at least score consistently, but that's not going to be enough in an Atlantic division that has these new Super-Celtics.

It seems to be a joke to them which is really sad. You are right though, they need to just clear the entire staff and start from scratch.

The Knicks are making me physically ill right now. Seriously, there is no heart in this team.

104-59, I always liked Isiah as a player but the guy should have been fired at half time.

The Onion weighed in on this yesterday:

Iverson still has a job, but Skiles is out in Chicago.

That's just wrong on so many levels.

Heres hoping that Donnie Walsh can fix this ship. Send Isaiah packing and start unloading the driftwood they call a team. I haven't paid any attention to the team this year because they're unbalanced as players and coaches go.

As a longtime Knicks fan, who still thinks Patrick Ewing is the greatest center of all time, I usually end up weeping if I think about the current state of the Knicks. Oh how I long for Anthony Mason, Charles Oakley, and John Starks versus these heartless ninnies they call a team and their 'leader'.

Isaiah has to have something on James Dolan or he would have been gone a long time ago! It's sad that the mecca of basketball has had to put up with these shenanigans for so long!

I pray that they are lucky enough to get the number one pick in the draft, draft Rose from Memphis, fire Isaiah, dump Marbury, Curry, and Randolph, and start over with Crawford, Rose, Robinson, and David Lee...

I'm sure Isaiah will find a way to screw that up....

Thomas is finally out, day late though.

I do think with Walsh in there he will model it after the Indiana teams he built into quality clubs.

Difference is in N.Y.C. you have the name and the mucho dollars behind you to do what you need.

I think his biggest problem will be realizing he can "buy" who ever he wants and not giving in to temptation while staying the hard road of rebuilding...

OF COURSE,

This is all dependent upon the Knicks climbing out of the financial hellhole they put themselves in...
