View Full Version : The Super Smash Bros. Mafia Game! (Sign Ups)
That's right, yet another one! I will be running a Super Smash Bros mafia game! The best video game in the world is becoming mafiatized!
I am opening a sing up thread now, but the actual game won't start until at least October (probably mid October). I just want to see how many roles I am going to need.
What this means is that if you are in a lot of games right now, most of them will have ended by the time we get around to this one.

Well, I know some people wonder how a physician can treat patients and play Mafia...so I'll just boggle their mind more by joining your game, Mags. :)
(Seriously, fun idea and you know whatever you put up - heck, it could have been Yogurt Wars Mark II - I would have supported after all the times you've joined games for people.)

Well, this won't start too soon as:
a) Need more people to play
b) Need to write up all the roles
c) Need time to run it as school has me swamped.

Basically, there are two teams. The townsfolk want to kill the mafia, the mafia want to kill the townies.
The mafia know who eachother are and can PM eachother, however they are a relativly small group. The town is large, but are uninformed.
The game consists of 2 phases. During the night, the mafia will make a kill, and anyone with a special power may use it.
During the day, everyone can vote for someone they want to lynch. If a majority is reached, that person dies, and it is night again.
Mafia wins by killing all the townies, townies win by lynching all the mafia.
When the game starts, roles will be PM'd out explaining who you are and what powers you have.

There are only 5 characters left that I need to write up. Trying to think of fitting powers that aren't already being used is hard. Still, I have a lot of roles ready. Need more people to fill them!

we can start sooner if you guys want, but I'm going to keep this thread open for a while longer first. We only have 19 people signed up, and I have a lot more roles then that. I'm hoping to fill more spots. (the fact that this is a non comic game may be hurting registration a bit)

thanks Mags, but really I have a lot of things going in my life right now.
I will be up to the JLA game but I get really exited with this games and I like to be very active soo, I must say no, really sorry. I aceept the JLA because I think one game will be ok and I know (and love) a lot of JLA.
please don't feel bad I just have to do somethings in my life right now.
But I will be back! :p
That's okay. I have 25. That's pretty good. (Although role #26 is a good one. One more person needed for that role to be added)

Don't worry about it. You aren't the only first timer.
Basically, you will be assigned a role at random, either town or mafia. Town tries to kill mafia, mafia kills town. Each character has their own special powers they can use to help them. The town is larger, but don't know who eachother are. The mafia know eachother and can PM eachother, but are smaller.
Every day, there is a lynch. Everyone votes, if a majority is reached, that person is dead.
