Legion team

So most of you know that I was debating whether to buy the LOSH starter. I decided that I am so now i need help with a team.
Im going to buy the starter and play a game with that and maybe some JL stuff that i pull on saturday with my friends. What would be the best team to build out of the 7 characters we get in LOSH? I want to use ultra boy and drag on someone. Any teams that you built that worked really well for you?
Im thinking this for a 300 point team
Ultra boy + Drag 135
Cosmic boy 70
Saturn Girl 60
Shrinking Violet 30

For a 500 point game im thinking:
E Supergirl ( orgins) 192+ Unstoppable
Young Superman 100
Lightning Lad 70
Phantom Girl + Drag 45
Cosmic Boy 70
Legionaires

Triplicate Girl is the best Legion figure to put Drag on, if you don't mind that she's not in the starter set. Plasticity makes the roll required much easier, since you have to break away, not Phase or Leap/Climb away.

Other than that, it looks pretty good. I haven't got a chance to play any of the Legion figures yet, but I really want to.

I 2nd the R Triplicate Girl as Dragger. Drag is wasted on Ultraboy because you are going to want him to attack, not use actions risking a breakaway to Drag. Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl are both good but at heart they are support figs. 130 is a bit much for both. I'd Drop Saturn Girl, Violet and Drag to get Young Superman in there. But you will not have enough figs for all your actions without pushing. If you get a Dream Girl the PC is very nice as well.

For the higher point team, rather than Legionnaire pogs try to get a R Science Police on to have the TA to copy.

The Legion Starter figs are great, but they fair better with some of the older Legion figs in the mix.

Well im just trying to build the best team out of only the Legion set for saturday.

Any suggestions for just the Legion set? ANY teams at all?

Out of the Legion set alone? Hmm, that's tough.

At 130, Ultra Boy is the bulk of a 300pt team. With only 6 range, he's best with TK to give him a good shot, so Cosmic Boy's 70 points is key. Now you're up to 200. You can add Not-Superboy for an even 300 and another hard hitter, but this three-man squad's going to get swarmed by a better-balanced team. You could go with Timber Wolf and Phantom Girl for a four-fig squad, but this leaves you a bit short on range. Lightning Lad is a great shooter, but again this leaves you with only 3 figs to fight with.

What about feats? Do you plan to venture outside the set for cardboard? Then you have a few options and decisions to make. LLad needs Armor Piercing for his double EE. Cosmic Boy is excellent (EXCELLENT) with Contingency Plan, though not quite as much on a team below 500 points. The Phone Booth could really help Saturn Girl get to her best clicks. Protected is really good on Ultra Boy, either to preserve his early Impervious clicks or to save him on his soft Ultra Speed ones.

For the 500-pointer, if you're using the ATA, I'd drop E Supergirl in favor of E Valor.

I do plan on using some feats and some new Justice league stuff i got. Im thinking of throwing in Green arrow from justice league to help with ranged attacks. So a revised 400 point team is

the last 10 points are blatant cheese and non-theme, but make the team SO much more playable than a featcard or 10 more points for another figure.
