So: Black Adam, Red Hood, Nightwing, Starfire, The Monitor, Harbinger...and the rest is difficult to see. I think thats Booster Gold as Supernova on the far right. batwoman on the bottom right.

Yes, thanks AndrewT, I know this is a redo thread, but it is nice to talk about the Crisis set any time there is a chance! I finally figured out it was Forerunner after thinking about it for a minute. :)

The Forerunner art is a little different from the official Countdown comic art, it's hard to tell with the black and white version anway. Can't wait to see those boosters in color though. You know which box I will always choose to buy! :)

I want to quit buying Countdown to Adventure soo bad every time her face pops up in that backup feature, but I'm digging the main story with Animal Man, Adam Strange, and Starfire too much.

Forerunner, as a character, isn't necessarily a bad idea, but the stories she's been in thus far are criminally boring, making it impossible not to hate her.

I have never lit a heroclix figure on fire before. Clearly the time approaches.

Actually, she is a pretty lame character that never appeared in 52, which was a pretty stellar series, by the way.

Forerunner is a character from Countdown, the maxiseries, and its sister miniseries Countdown to Adventure features her adventures as a back-up feature.

Esp I have found a way to make Shathra more useful. :)

Forerunner, along with Black Mary, forms a definitive tie to Countdown. Other characters - Pied Piper, Jason Todd, etc - do, too, but the both of them are very much "Countdown." They're distinct to that series in particular in a way that the others are not.

She also may have been mandated by DC - they seem pretty intent on pimping certain characters. The August General really didn't belong in Justice League, yet there he is (not that I mind; I love the Great Ten).

Forerunner is a terrible character.... But she has Honor.. or should I say Honour.

Hell, looking at the booster art we are already getting the Crisis version of her character in Harbinger. I love how DC created a naming style of simply looking at MS Word and looking at the other meanings of Harbinger to naming Forerunner.

She's a terrible character and well, I plan on busting or throwing away every Forerunner heroclix piece I pull.

Black adam is the definitive super piece of the set Im guessing we will see a martian manhunter from WWIII to go with him, but basically 52 cumlminated with the last dozen or so issues going to Black Adam's personal war on earth or the societies that held back knowledge or persons who had something to do with the killing of Isis and her son. Essentially Black Adam is one of if not the coolest mother ####ers around and they cannot write enough about him. Even now the black suit Mary Marvel is just a test from Black Adam to see how she copes with what he calls a curse(his gods of power). She isn't and is failing misreably. She's has the brain and responsibility of a child how she ever was a hero Ill never no but I can only assume you needed a female character under a true hero as part of a team and there she is. She has the Anakin Skywalker persona and is written like it to perfection. As for Forerunner? Who knows and who cares the whole search for Ray Palmer deal is lame. Im like the biggest Palmer fan but he's always been out of the scene sort of speak or had his own agenda for the most part and how he can save the multiverse is beyond me.

The only thing Im in disagreement with atm is 52 tied into almost ever DC series at that time but Countdown doesn't. I was close to cancelling countdown and all its titles a few weeks back but they had an issue that was almost completely devoted too the trickster and piper and although there not A class villians there adventure is exciting. And booo to killing the best Flash ever. Upon the death of Bart Allen and the very LAME bringing bat of Wally West I cancelled my Flash subscription. If it ended cool, but not with some lame ### we need a Flash so Wally's back jazz.

Im just wondering where Superboy Prime fits into all of this? I mean everyone and there mother wants him to be made at close 300 pts but it doesn't seem to be something that the creators want. I mean he was a huge part in the new Crisis and is one of the most powerful if not the most powerful force in the Sinistro core after the obvious Anti-Monitor, Parallax and OA's ancients(Ganthet, etc).

I think Id drop Salaak and a couple more GL's too at least oen more a set. A new Kilowak couldn't hurt. Solomon Grundy and Gorilla Grodd are also in a dire need of being remade as huge fan favorite game pieces cause there in every series with huge rolls. Well at least Grodd is. Id like to see another Sinestro aswell maybe around 200 eventhough he's V is amazing for 144?

I went on too long as it is but yeah hooray for a new more powerful Black Adam and thanks for that. Lets just get in some other gravy while were at it. And focus more on the "old school" then the new school.
