Attack - Heat Vision: Give Superman a ranged combat action, he makes a ranged combat attack at plus 1 damage. If the attack is sucessful you may choose to deal the same amount of damage to a single adjacent character to the original target.
Defense - Man of Steel: Roll 1 D6, subtract 2 from the result to a minimum of 2, the final result is the amount that the damage is reduced by. If Superman takes damage from an attack when this power isn't showing when this power appears in the slot stop clicking him.

Comments/Ideas?

Attack - Heat Vision: Heat Vision

Please clarify what the Heat Vision special power does.


Defense - Man of Steel: Roll 1 D6, subtract 2 from the result to a minimum of 2. If Superman takes damage from an attack when this power isn't showing when this power appears in the slot stop clicking him.

The second part of this special power I understand; it's basically the same as Doomsday's. However, please clarify the part with the die roll as I am confused.

And whats with the Earthbound?


I love the quake though.

And he shouldn't get 2 damage without a damage increasing power ever.

first of all sorry for all the mistakes, i think i wrote too much for the heat vision thing so it didnt port over and i wasnt really thinking when i was writing man of steel. as for the 6 damage and flurry, this is the one man army superman i would expect his cost to be somewhere around 300. he gains earthbound because when he gets too injured to fly and is too busy defending other characters to use his energy to fly.

Not really convinced by that.

Still, its one of the more interesting dials I've seen, and could be exceedingly funny to play.

That heat vision is some sorta ridiculous, I'd dial that back a lot.

But when is the last time Supes just vaporised two people with his heat vision? Five damage to two targets with one attack? Thats nutty.

I really like the skeleton of your dial, so I decided to make my vision of Superman based on your skeleton.

Superman
Team: Superman Ally

Attack - Heat Vision: Superman can use Energy Explosion. The target is dealt damage equal to Superman's unmodified damage, and the "splash" targets are dealt 1 damage.
Defense - Man Of Steel: Superman has invulnerability. When this power shows in his slot, stop turning his dial.
Damage - Ice and wind Breath: Superman can use force blast and incapacitate. When he uses force blast, after knockback is applied, give an action token to the target, and deal pushing damage where applicable.

Dunno how much he would cost though. Any suggestions?

I like alot except for a few things - Damage value shouldn't stay under four very long - hes SUPERMAN. also you'll have to convince me for plasticity and psychic blast. oh and his man of steel shouldn't be twice in a row else he can only be delt 1 click of damage on his fifth click - otherwise great dial really like the sp too

I changed the 2s to 3s on the damage.

Psychic blast is for his heat vision, its really potent. Plasticity is for being too strong to hold down, and strong and fast enough to not let enemies run away.

I don't see the problem with Man Of Steel being on consecutive clicks.

It would be more overpowered if he had flurry and 6 damage on the same click as the special power.

To use the same phrase as you - he is SUPERMAN
