I know I am probably way behind, but I just read about her in an english Hifi magazine, seems like I found a new musician to hunt down.

Here are some links

Gunpowder and Lead (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVpEZDvkt-8) slightly better sounding recording stupid Sony watchdogs
Crazy ex Girlfriend (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkK-SYFPkDQ)
Kerosene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zpv5VRtIR80)
Mama I'm Alright (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q9aOlD8PZU)
I Turn to You (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CguC3-XZOCg)

Anyone heard of her?

I haven't heard of her, but I'll check out the links you posted.

Kerosene is a great song to yell aloud. Her newest, Everybody's Famous in a Small Town, is pretty good too. I love it.

Holy Guacamole! Somebody besides me started a thread in this forum.

The link to Gunpowder and Lead no longer works and the link to Mama I"m All Right leads to Kerosene. Just so you know.

She sounds all right but I don't think I'll rush to add her to my collection.

Try them again, they should work for another 2 hours until Sony shut them down again.

The story behind Gunpowder and Lead is very funny, she got the idea at a concealed gun course.

They seem to be working better now. I think I might have liked the first song if the sound quality had been better.

Yes, apparently Sony don't want her to be overly popular, so allow bad sounding links to survive, Gunpowder and Lead is a very good song and worth a listen in the store to the CD, the live ones are really badly miked.

If you want to hear some of her songs try here Miranda Lambert myspace (http://www.myspace.com/mirandalambert)

Before Sony shuts it down as well.
