I know that one can legally download Radiohead's new album now, paying whatever one thinks is fair.

Personally, I'm one of those old-schoolers who needs to have a physical copy of my favorite music, so I'm waiting until the new year when In Rainbows is released as a CD.

If any of you out there are downloading it, I'm curious as to what you payed for it and, of course, I'd love to hear what you think of the album.

I downloaded it yesterday. I won't say how much, although i will say it was too little.

In Rainbows is amazing, 10 out of 10. Deep and rich, with some cracking tunes i was not expecting from a band i heard very little of.

I downloaded it as this is my first radiohead album, it won't be my last though as i intend to go back and explore radiohead more.

Get it, why not. I could cost you nothing

I'm gonna dl it at some point.

I have Ok Computer and I must say I thought i'd like it more than I did. Still, this one sounds like a laugh.

Check out Hail to the Thief. It's less "experimental" (and thus, a bit more even on the ears) than OK Computer. Or heck, just skip straight to DJ Shadow's remix of "The Gloaming." (http://servetherevolution.com/DJShadow-GloamingRemix.mp3)

I'll certainly be adding this to my collection when it's released on CD but I wouldn't mind downloading it except I don't know where to look. Yahoo changed their search engine recently and I don't like using it anymore.
If I were to pay for the download I'd probably pay what I'd pay for the CD I guess. I'm not fond of buying things over the internet without the use of Paypal though.

Thanks.

Eddy you have to dl it from their website. I tired yesterday and the site was all buggy and didn't work, so I don't know whats up with it.

Ahhh, okay thanks, I rarely visit artist websites unless they're old and I want to see what's happening with them now.

Just dl'd it. It wasn't working the first few times I tried.

It's ok/pretty cool. I mean I found Ok Computer very draining, and this is a bit more upbeat, but blends into one long drone. (not in a particularly bad way)

I think Chart described the cd best:
"Really this is only their 5th or 6th best album. How can a cd be considered good when it's the 5th or 6th best? That's just sort of how it is with Radiohead."
