Secret Wars: the Pseudo-Mafia Game

Okay, it's obviously not going to start for awhile as I have Buffy just getting underway but as I'm getting daily PM's about "When can I sign up?" from certain folks, I'm going to kick off the sign-up list.

This is basically going to be a Mafia game but - just as people in my prior games know - I like to fiddle with rules and add in a few things. Locations won't be as prevalent this time around - though there are a few key ones that will pop up at certain parts of the game - but there will be some new factors like "Daily Battle Victory Conditions" and "Victory Points".

So, with all the mightiest Marvel heroes and dastardly villains gathered together, which side will win the honours of the Beyonder...and can any of them do it before Galactus devours them all (did I mention there's a Galactus rule for the game? Silly me. :) )

For the longest time I was contempletating runnign a Secret Wars game myself, but I couldn't think of a way to get the ratio of hero-to-villains right without leaving out a whole bunch of characters :)

The bigger concern is that the fire-proof seals on the jet boots will wear out: there are still so many residual alcohol fumes in that armour you know one stray flame and Rhodey's toast. :)

I'm gonna guess it's so that we can play "Fantasy League" mafia. Now we can trade people from team to team, and get stats such as Night-Kills, Lynch Votes, and Role-Claims to see whose fantasy Mafia team will win.

Or, y'know, it could be a devious scheme by Rokk.

Okay, I think this number - 38 - will work (though the OCD'er in me would've liked 40 to round off the number :laugh: ).

I'm closing the thread - though I may re-open to post a few things here and there (such as Special Rules teaser) - to sign-ups. PM's will be sent in throughout the remainder of this week and, possibly, the beginning of next (due to time demands this week). Depending on that we'll be starting at the beginning-to-middle of next week.
