I am signed up for 2 mafia games now, but I have never played one before. Sure, I've read all the wiki I can but I would like some first-hand experience.

With a slow weekend ahead of me, are there a few people on here that would want to do a small, basic Mafia game with me? Just a standard little 2 Mafia/4-5 Townie type of affair.

I'd be willing to play in a game for newbies. It's always fun for me to help others learn the game. :)

I could try to run it, though I'm a little anxious about game balance with such few numbers (wrote up the preliminary roles and I THINK it would work... :noid: )

Well, you would be welcome to make it as 'well rounded' a story as you like. I was just looking to go through a complete game to see how it tends to play out. I get the feeling that just reading a thread only gives you some of the idea.

That's why I was looking for quick and simple. :)

don't tell who you are!

if you are in a Mafia team don't say it and don't say who your perneers Mafia are!

that and a lot of others things must be learned! :p

lite advices:

basically don't reveal who you are.

don't trsut in anybody. just trust in what the write up say and in the confirmed deads.

If you are mafia ask to your Mafia Partners to learn everything, hey will give you little advices. (Mafia act different).

Mafia and town can do anything or act in anyway. watch and learn the few first day phases can be good. you can say if you have any useful info, but if you are a Medic or a cop or a tracker or a bloker toy must be carefoul because if mafia know what you are one of them they will try to kill you.

about a practice agme I don't know. I think is more nice Live the Game inself!

in my first game I spend half the just to figure out how the rules were, soo I think you will be fine with this thread and just play. :)

With Jack running the thing, we could probably have a quick starter game at this number. 1 or 2 more would make things a bit more interesting though.

I have a question about cop/inspector roles. It seems that traditionally, those players are shown one mafia member each night. However, it seems like having them pick someone to inspect makes for a more interesting game. What is used most often?

The cop picks someone to investigate.
