Hey all,
After sitting on the sidelines and watching, I want in on the next game (provided it isn't something stupid like, oh I don't know, "YuGiOh!" mafia or something else I can't stomach.)
I figured anyone waiting on a game can post up here, then the next GM of the next mafia game can let players know that they're starting one.

Oh, and if anyone wanted to do a "Monday Night Wrestling Wars" mafia game, I'm SO into joining that one.

Guitar Gods Mafia still needs a lot of players to sign up. You're more than welcome to join if you want in.
I know Harry Potter is looking for players, as is Annihilation I think.
I also know of at least one more in the works (no, not by me) but I won`t spoil the surprise for the person running it.

I joined the Harry Potter one. We'll see how that goes.
Depends on how long you live. If people kill you off right away, you may not enjoy it. If you live to the end (or nearly there), you`ll be hooked.

Depends on how long you live. If people kill you off right away, you may not enjoy it.
Even if that happens, I strongly advise getting back in there and trying again. Now there's so many Mafia games going on it's easy to get in another game quickly. Back when only Peers was running 'em and they were a long time in between...that DID kinda suck to be eliminated early. :p

You mean besides my never ending hatred for all things Joe Q does? That he's killed Captain America, all but banned smoking from comics since his Dad died of lung cancer, turned Gwen Stacy into a tramp, and will kill Mary Jane by the end of 2008. Nah, no reason whatsoever to mourn for the days of Tom DeFalco.

and, I make a point NOT to involve myself with writers, reasons, or anything like that. I haven't known anyone who works at marvel or DC except Jack Kirby:p I pick up a comic book to enjoy it, and I always do. Its all about mind set.
Marvel has a lot more continuity. It also has a 'universal connection' as i call it. DC seems like 20 different worlds, 20 different stories, etc., but Marvel, it really feels like 1 Super power filled world. Which i like.
Its a matter of rpeference, I reckon.

I'm still rejiggering, and I may be able to go with what I have now (28), but I could go with my original setup at 36, which I doubt I'll get.
But there's a bunch of mafias starting up right now so we've got plenty of time for stragglers to pop in if anyone wants. I'm gonna hold off on launching it.

Suggestion: Since this is the mafia "bullpen" and all, could this be a place of keeping tally of all mafia games past and currently running?
Anytime somebody started signups for a game/started a game/ended a game, they could pm Shel and she could update the first post.
That way anybody looking to join a game could just check the first post and see what is open for signups and we could keep a running record of what players/factions have won the most.
I mean, we could always start a new thread for that, but this seems like the best place for it.
JLA 3 is still accepting.

Yep, Marvel Zombies Mafia rises from the grave next Wednesday, on Halloween. Sign-ups are closed but I can make room for one or two more people who may be interested in playing.
Roles will be sent out over this coming weekend.

Trust me, there are many, many more, and only one of the characters so far is TOTALLY obscure :)
As for why Cap (and a couple of others) are in Hell, you'll have to play the game to find out, needless to say, Mephisto is a very, VERY slick devil :devious:

I'm still working on mine, with JoH as consultant. It should be a smaller game 15-20 roles. Should be fun.
