The rules are simple. Somebody takes a movie quote and modifies it with similar language. Everybody else attempts to guess what movie the quote is from, and whoever is correct first gets to go next. I'll start with an easy one:
"This is the most disgusting fedora I've ever laid eyes on! When you purchase this fedora, it must come with a free tureen of clam chowder. Looks amazing on you, however."
Caddyshack.
You killed the thread. You're supposed to post a scrambled movie quote.

Maybe he wants to make sure he's right, first.

He's right, with the classic line by Al Czervik. Hopefully that will resurrect the thread...

Can I yell "Caddyshack" and then invent one?

I think that the Caddy Shack has already been invented. Especially if you're able to shout the word.

Screw it, I'm going.
"A lack of fornicating feces, female! Are you interpreting this as a request for marinara sauced pie?!"

John McClaine, Die Hard.
That was really good, I'm totally repping you.
New quote in a bit, unless somebody beats me to it...

Beat you to it. Good luck.
"You are looking for a large treasure, from when you were not shackled. You will find a treasure, but not the one you were looking for. Beforehand, beforehand you have to journey, on a lengthy and challenging path. And although that path will twist, you will stay upon it."

Yessir!
O Brother Where Art THou?!
The Blind Soothesayer
I would have kept the quote going, but I couldn't figure out how to put "You will see a cow, on the roof of a cotton house" in other words.

"A bovine on the top of a shack designed to hold the pre-Civil War Cash Crop will enter your perception."

You are seeking a big booty, from before your imprisonment. You will discover a booty, but not your intended. Ere, ere you must travel, on a long and difficult road, and though that road will wind, you must remain.
You desire great riches, from your free years. You will find richness, but not as you believe. Before, before, you must travel on a long and dangerous road, and though that road will bend, you must persevere...
Yeah, I don't know. Is it a Harry Potter thing?
EDIT: Beaten, and obviously I need to see that movie again.
Jerusalem.
####, I'm still only in Jerusalem.
