UFC signs Brock Lesnar (http://wrestling.insidepulse.com/articles/71371/2007/10/21/ufc-signs-former-wwe-undisputed-champion.html)

Now, I know Brock was a NCAA champion, but I can't really see him being much more than a basic ground and pound kinda guy. And in the UFC, I don't know if that's going to be nearly enough. Should be an interesting PPV at least once he's finally on the card.

Brock will at least make for some intresting marketability. Don't count out his talents though...good wrestler who is incredibly big and strong. He could legitmately win some matches.

Eh, let's see. All I can say is: Josh Koscheck. He's a wrestler who built up his striking skills, and now he's being talked about for title shots. Brock has already won a fight (for what THAT was worth), and so he's got a chance. As a former pro wrestling fan, I think it'll be surreal to see Brock Lesnar versus someone like Tim Silvia or Arlovski.

I'll laugh my arse off if he somehow works the F5 into a UFC match. :p

If he could pull that off and actually make it effective, NO ONE would ever want to fight him. Ever.

Theoretically you could do a modified version of it from a Matt Hughes-style slam.

It's still just be hilarious to see. :p

Brock will probably bring in a few people from outside the MMA scene, generate some buzz, and lose horribly when he fights anyone with a shred of talent.

Though, UFC needs someone to give their heavyweight scene some interest, so it's decent from that standpoint.

I remember hearing a few years back that Angle and Lesnar messing around did a shoot fight and Angle won.

I think it was the other way around. I think Lesnar managed to better Angle.
