Both teams are playing well and seem to have a little magic working on their side right now. I'm going with the mythical "playoff experience edge" that the Sox have and picking them in 6.
I'm also hoping for some more fun and exciting games, though I'm not sure my nerves can handle the stress.

Please let it be the Rockies, I hate the Red Sox. I hate that they act like underdogs and the working man's team when they spend $5 less a year than the big Corporate evil of the Yankees (who I also hate). Any year that the Sox and Yankees don't win is a good year for baseball.
Also I am Canadian and because the Rockies used to have Larry Walker, we all see them as Canada's team (outside of Toronto, Canadians generally don't like Toronto based teams, except the Raptors who for some reason get a free pass). And the Rockies were the team that my career player won the series with in MLB 2007.
So Go Rockies!!!

As an Oriole fan I can't agree more. I hope the layoff doesn't hurt the Rox they are on quite a tear. I don't know who will win the series, but I don't see the Rox beating Beckett in Boston. It definitely won't be a sweep either way.
Sadly I see Sox in 6.

I hoping that the Rocjies win for the following reasons:
1) They have never won a World Series, and Boston just won three years ago.
2) The city of Denver hasn't won a major sport title in almost ten years.
3) Hopefully, the Broncos will pay too much to the baseball game, and lose the rest of their games this year.
4) Todd Helton deserves to win a ring.
However, with the momentum (along with home field adavantage) on the Red Sox's side, I too see them taking the series in six game. Really looking forward to the pitching matchup tomorrow: Becket vs Francis. Glory.

Ouch. Not quite what I expected from this series. Well, except for the Beckett dominating part.
Francis was certainly having trouble locating, and that will kill you against the Sox. And the bullpen certainly didn't help things out tonight.
Hopefully, the Sox didn't wear themselves out tonight as taking both in Boston will make it easier to sit one of Lowell, Ortiz and Youk during the games in Colorado.
On the positive side for the Rockies, there's a good chance this game helped them get back into the game groove again. I don't care what anybody says, an 8-day layoff has to put a little funk in your routine.

Now that was an awesome game!!!
Colorado escaped a couple times early with the Ortiz almost-homer staying and the Lugo almost-double both staying foul.
Lowell had two key plays though. Advancing to third on Drew's hit so he was able to score on Varitek's sac fly. Then the key double to score Ortiz and give the Sox their go-ahead run.
I felt confident that Papelbon would have shut down the Rockies even if Holliday doesn't get picked off at first, but that sure helped.
Even though it was a little nerve-wracking, I'm hoping for some more close and well-played games to make this a memorable series.

I admit that was a great game last night. I really doubt that the series will return to Boston. These playoffs have been full of surprises, so I could be wrong.
