That's what I told my buddy the other night. He said it did.

Thanks.

When determining line of fire, ignore Stealth and team abilities that duplicate the effects of Stealth.

Prerequisite: Shape Change
Choose a character.
When the character is adjacent to a wall or blocking terrain, any line of fire for a ranged combat attack drawn to the character is blocked.

Just set the cards in front of him and make him tell you why he thinks Bright Lights stops Camouflage. He won't be able to come up with any viable reason and your point will be proven.

Well you see Camouflage is pretty much stealth, I mean come on it does the same thing right?

:p

His reasoning was that 'line of fire' was used in both instances, but my argument was that Camoflauge is not Stealth, nor was it a TA that duplicated Stealth.

In the end, it didn't matter, as he had no figures at the time capable of attacking my Super Skrull from Range anyway, but I just wanted some back up so that if it comes up again, I can point him in the right direction :)

Thanks for all the responses. Going to rep you all for the help :)

Outwit, Perplex and Probability Control also use the term 'line of fire'. Does he think Bright Lights should nerf them too?

Nope, sure doesn't. Reading them will show that. Oh, go ahead and slap a Powers and Abilities card in front of him with Camouflage and Bright Lights.

You were dead on when you said that your argument was that Camoflauge isn't Stealth, nor is it a team ability that duplicates Stealth. It hides a character with Shape Change.....much different.
