You know, I've been looking over the vent thread and the whine about getting killed thread and I'm strongly considering replacing two players before my next game starts.

A third name sticks out strongly as someone that I would also be replacing if he had signed up.

You don't talk about games that you've died in. ####! That's half the reason why the mafia kills players. That's half the reason mafia players try to get townies lynched.

Every freaking game says not to talk after you're dead at the front of it and that talking after death about a game is cheating. Almost every freaking game thread says that cheaters can't play in games that mod runs.

I've got 3 alternates. Why on earth should I allow cheaters to play in my games?

The two in my game know who they are. It'd be silly to not say.

I feel MSU's comments in the vent thread may influence the Heroes game despite the fact that MSU is dead. I feel get1's comments in the whine about getting killed thread are definately something that could influence the Crisis of Infinite Carlosmuchas game, again, even though get1 is already dead. TheBoyBlunder(who is not in my game)'s comments on the whine about getting killed thread might have already influenced BYOBG2 as they more or less called Loganspeedo mafia and Loganspeedo was lynched the next day.

Sure, I could shrug these off. We let stuff like this just go by on those threads all the time. But is that really a good excuse?

Phew, thought i was gonna be one of those names although i do try my best not to ruin current games i'm in, speaking of which how am i in no active games at all, its fun an all to have all the time for modding but i wouldn't mind having a game to play in the meantime while i'm waiting for pms.

As far as this one goes, everyone seemed to have made up their mind about me on Day Two. I doubt any rant TBB may have had elsewhere would have influenced anything beyond the course it was flowing. The only reason I lasted as long as I did was probably because of a technicality. I also think the mafia(s) played it out well by rushing the day phase that day so the town got nowhere in two days. All of this is reflected in what I said in the thread prior to death, so I don't feel it is ruining anything.

Okay, so something funny happened and I thought I would share.

So I'm watching Heroes season 2. Mohinder walks into a sick person's room and is like "Hello? I'm a doctor."

Immediately, I thought to myself "Ooo. Bad idea."

And then I realized mafia is really the only place you don't want to tell people you're a doctor. :rolleyes:

Is this dvd or rerun?

And the line "Hello? I'm a doctor." is totally typical for his lines! I love the show, but a lot of the time the words and acting is just so wooden. I watch it for Hiro and HRG.

Every time that a VERY pregnant women was walking around inside the Super Market I say to myself "oh no, oh no, I don't think I'm ready for this".

Lucky me just like 4 times in the year I see VERY pregnant woman in the super market. If not, who knows if I baby would be carring a name after me now. :p

I apologize to all mods whose games I have been inactive in. Hurricane Ike hit my home hard and we have been without power for an entire week. I'm currently at a friends house, but I don't have enough time to catch up and contribute. I'm hoping to get power back soon, but soon might translate out to be Thursday. If you feel you need to replace me, I totally understand and hope to enjoy more games in the future. Hopefully I'll have power again by Monday and be able to participate in the new games I have gotten roles in.

90's Merry Marvel Mafia Mayhem will resume as soon as I have power again and have time to review all the pm's in my inbox.

And it isn't like I haven't included one circumstantially unlynchable player in one of my games or that I've never used a lawyer role but it's just generally annoying when majority is a certain number and you get that number of votes and nothing happens.

If we are getting technical, it is Season 5 of my game, not 4.

And I am still looking for players. You know, if anyone hasn't gotten in on the fun yet. I've been told I run a pretty good game.

I'd suggest players sign up for Loganspeedo's Christmas Musical Mafia, which should only need 1 player to start, assuming Logan is still interested in running it.

Chi and TBB's Dollhouse is in need of 9 players to start immediately. Immortal Raven's Restaurant Wars could use several more players. Mal's Hall of Fame mafia could use another 10 players. These both hope to start in early Jan and lack of players might cause delays!

All other games look more or less on target for their start dates.

Zyxba's Murder Mystery and Vlad's Muppet Mafia should both be starting soon. Zyxba's could use some more players and I'll bet Vlad wouldn't mind you joining in, either, if you're looking for a game to start ASAP.
