Hurray for my home team, the Boston Red Sox! I didn't think we'd sweep the series but hey, I can't complain.
If only Youk had the chance to play the last two games!
MVP to LOWELL!! I really hope he stays with the Sox next year!!
I find it funny because there was a lot of talk about how Colorado was gonna take us because they had won 21 of the last 23 games....
Then we sweep them.

WooHoo. Another Series win for the Sox. They really played a great series all around. Lowell definitely deserved the MVP for his hitting, fielding, and baserunning.
It was too bad that Youk had to be on the bench for most of the last two games, just like the Sox had to celebrate away from home again, but I guess it can't be perfect.

Yeah, all the hype around how well they did during their other playoff series and then they basically shut down in the World Series. But you gotta give it to the Red Sox. They played an awesome series and were determined to win another pennant.
You also have to give Lester credit pitching an awesome game. The guy is 23 years old, and he pitched like a veteran in last night's game. Amazing! Congrats Red Sox and Sox fans!
I think it's cool because a friend of mine in boston gets like $2500 worth of furniture for free now!

Yeah, I know somebody who also was able to take advantage of that deal. I don't think they made out as well as your friend though.
I didn't take that chance because I know my luck would have doomed the Sox to not even make the Series if I tried.
