I just wanted to get everyones take on gambit turning against his fellow x-men and becoming a bad guy. Do you feel that this was a wrong decision?
Gambit is still around? I gave up on the X-titles a couple of years ago. :ermm:

As far as I know, he was always intended to turn out bad from the start, but that got a bit sidetracked by his popularity.
I'd rather he go the villainous route, personally. And applaud that happening.
A lot of the more interesting aspects to some of the X-characters are the ones never gone with - Mr. Sinister actually be the psychic projection of a mutant kid and Mystique being Nightcrawler's father both being the more prominent.
Then there are the really lame ones like Wolverine actually being a wolverine evolved up by the High Evolutionary...egads that's terrible and I'm so glad it was never gone with.

Gambit isn't all bad, but I wish he were. As you can see he keeps giving hints to some of the X-men (Cable) and sort of protecting them (destroying a book for Cannonball's life). He's all about rogue and unless she goes back to her evil ways (which could happen now that her mind is a mess) he will always be good along with her.

Um.....gender issues??? She IS a shape-shifter...
Gambit is your classic weak-willed good guy.
He wants to do what's right, he just doesn't really know what that is at any given moment, so he usually goes about it poorly, and ends up being a bad guy, because he's pretty easily mislead.
