Alright, I lied. I said I'd never run another mafia game, but Looney Tunes has left something to be desired within me, so I'm dibsing a "Mafia" mafia.

You'll understand more when I post the sign-up thread, but it does involve the actual mafia, which is the gist of the dibs. It won't start for a good long time, but I'd like to have a claim on it early.

I don't think there's anything set. I think it's basically take a look at Antipathy's Statis thread, see when the start dates are estimated. I personally think the attempt at scheduling hasn't worked so well these past two months... However I think some of that is due to the holidays delaying games, and now there is a glut of games.

Personally, I've informally decided to run my games opposite Sstralk (although he has not been made officially aware of this :laugh:). I figure, by doing this, at the very least cuts down on some overlapping.

Scheduling a game is a hard thing, because you never really know how long a game will take. It's all dependent on players sending in actions on time, or the way night actions fall. A PGO could hit 4 players in one night, or none the whole game.

Making people aware that my next Something Different game (after Lights Out and possibly after X-Men 3) is going to be one of the following:

Pick Your Poison: Town has a certain number of points and so does the mafia. The mafia picks the roles the town should have based on points. Maybe a cop is worth 3 points, a doctor is worth 3, a roleblocker is worth 2, etc. Townies vote via pm to decide what roles the mafia should get.

Broken Mafia: All the roles people complain about like day cops, mafia reverse trackers and a bunch of new ones that I came up with.

Fine by me. Start up a thread, and get Kit to sticky it and unsticky mine. I'll run through and update everything since my last update so that you can just cut and paste the current status and start from there.

updated, but I think it's inaccurate. I think I missed one or two and some of the old ones I listed have probably already been played. Only ones I'm super sure on are my own. might just be better to start from scratch.
