Let the discussions flow. Likes, dislikes, classic film or overhyped trash, and DONT FORGET to place an Overall Rating when youre done.

Its easy, just give a Rating from 1 (Jaws 4:The Revenge) to 10 (Jaws), and thats it. Course I'd love to have you all give reasons as to why you feel it deserves this Overall Rating, and more than encourage discussions with us all about them.

So, what say you all?

Yellow Submarine, I have loved this movie for years, it was a late night staple on TV through the 80's in our little burgh, and it was the second DVD I bought, a Psychadelic masterpiece, this gets a 10/10 from me.

8/10. Always been a special movie to me. I'm certain that the video is still in my front room, collecting dust on the VCR. But it's still special, dammit!

9/10 This will always be a special movie as its what made me like the Beatles as a kid. Its a beautiful movie and a look into the psychodelic / pop art of the time as well as an all out just interesting movie with some excellent songs. Personally, I think its aged pretty well considering what it is, but I don't think its a movie for everybody. Its basically an art film made accessible through the use of Beatles music, and I think that enjoyment of it depends on how much you enjoy those two halves of the film, or well, how high you are at the time you're watching it.

Love this movie for its music, its psychedelic animation, and its fun characters and storyline. Best Beatles movie ever, IMO, with some great lines ("I have a hole in me pocket", "I couldn't help myself, I am a Lever-puller...", and the like.)

9 out of 10, because all you need is love! :)

This movie used to be on Late Night every New Years Eve when I was a kid (quite young as well), and I used to watch and love it every year for years on end. It is this film (as well as the Alvin And The Chipmunks Do The Beatles LP - truth), that have made me toe Huge Beatles fan I am today. My favorite all time group, started when I was a wee lad, due to this incredibly trippy animate film. While Ive watched it a few times since reach adulthood, and own the DVD, its not as Magical as it was when I was young (less Im drunk while watching it), but its still a fantastic (and fantastical) animated film, littered with Beatles songs and well written and humorous dialogue. Not one of my favorite animated films ever, but it gets mad props from me for introducing me to the Greatest Band On Earth.

Yellow Submarine - 8.75 / 10

I love the beatles and the soundtrack to this film, but the movie itself has just never grabbed me. It is no Hard Days Night or Help, though it does derserve points for design alone and the crazy story is interesting if a little much.

7 out of 10

To a certain extent I agree with you lennie, though I gave this one a bit of a boost for introducing me to and making me Love The Beatles at an early age, and for making them my all time favorite band! So without Yellow Submarine (and Alvin) I wouldnt be the Beatles Fan I am today. :)
