To begin, let's go over the tride and true rules of the games:

1) A full writeup of the rules can be found here (http://www.mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page) This game will be more complicated than what's described there, as nearly everyone has some sort of 'special thing' about them. Doesn't mean everyone has a night power, but you never know...

2) When you vote, please do so by saying Vote: [Player] in bold. If you wish to change your vote, please say Change Vote: [Player] instead. Voting for 'Nobody' is a valid vote; if a majority votes for 'nobody' then nobody will be lynched and we'll move on to the Night phase.

3) If your role says you -may- PM me a target, you don't have to do anything at night. Even so, it'll speed things along quite a bit if you'd still just send me a PM saying "Not using my [whatever] power tonight, thanks."

4) If your role says you -must- PM me a target, and you do not? I'll pick one randomly. Or, perhaps, not-so-randomly. Don't blame me if you target someone who kills you.

5) You may NOT send a PM to anyone about this game unless your role explicitly says you can. This is cheating.

6) Do NOT edit your posts in this thread. This is cheating.

7) Please do not copy-and-paste anything from any PM I send you to the thread. This is also cheating.

8) Please do not post in this thread after you are killed. This, too, is cheating and can ruin the game if done wrong.

9) Cheaters don't get to play in any other games I run.

10) Remember, it's just a game. You will get paranoid, you will be stabbed in the back by someone, you will see somebody do or say something stupid and want to smack them. Just breathe deep and relax. If things get out of hand, we do have a mod playing who will forcibly remind you to chill out if needed. It hasn't happened yet, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Today was the day. The day that the revolution would to begin.

Rip Hunter, the self proclaimed Master of Time, watched the world with great interest. He knew the revolution would come and he knew how it would end. But that was so boring. What if…just what if he tampered? Just a few mild nudges here and there. Would it affect the outcome?

Only time would tell…

* * * * * * * * * *

Ultraman watched over Metropolis. It was the city that gave him his start as a conqueror. It was his city. And lord knows it was so boring he wanted to tear his own eyes out just to keep from having to look at it.

“Beauty, isn’t it?” A voice from behind him said. He turned around at super speed and saw his oldest enemy: Alexander Luthor. Ultraman rushed at his armored opponent immediately, but began to feel sluggish, nauseous and, worst of all, powerless.

“You know that feeling of utter failure flowing through your veins like ice?” Alexander said with a cruel tone. “That’s kryptonite. I found some after a meteor shower near the remains of Smallville. It’s an extremely useful counter-measure to the Anti-K that gives you your powers, Kent.”

Ultraman wheezed sickeningly.

“That’s right. I know your secret identity. It was quite the useful tidbit. But I digress…”

Alexander rushed forward, grabbing Ultraman and flying upwards, through all the atmospheres of Earth and getting nearer to the blazing orange gem that was the sun.

“Goodbye, Ultraman. I’ve always hated you.” He said before swinging the despot by his red cape and tearing it as his foe’s body sped towards the sun.

Villains and heroes gathered in Metropolis. Apparently, they had all received the same thing: an invitation.

And then they all saw Ultraman’s cape, torn and tattered, hanging on the back of his statue.

The group looked down and saw the same postcard that had brought them there. One side read “Come visit beautiful Metropolis!”, but the other was far more important:

Today’s the day,
Today’s the day,
That Ultraman
Goes up, up and away!

St-Dumas is dead. He was Ultraman, whose powers made him super, but who finally got what was coming.

Their monarch was dead. And worst of all, someone knew it was coming. But what could they do about it now? Just leave the center of town and go to sleep.

Day 1 has ended. No one has been lynched.

Night 1 begins now and will end at 4:00 PM, PST.

The villains had gone to rest, hoping they would be safe for the night. Sadly, they were wrong.

Two eyes, masked behind a silver-blue cowl, monitored the black-costumed man. The watcher was silent. The watcher was stealthy. The watcher was a master of concealment and camoflauge.

And then he realized the black-costumed man could see him.

But someone else couldn't. The black-costumed man saw the new arrival, then was blinded by a bright pink light. The rest was a blank.

* * * * * * * * * * *

A man in blue armor sat in his room, going over his plans feverishly, trying to figure out what to do tonight.

"Weapons, weapons, who has the weapons?" He muttered, desperately planning.

"You like weapons so much?" A voice asked. "Here are some weapons for you."

A blue blast silenced the planner.

An ancient hero flew over Metropolis, watching out for anything he could do or anyone he could stop.

Suddenly, he was ambushed by a black-costumed young man. He grabbed onto the hero's neck and began to squeeze with all his might.

"Say the magic word." The ambusher whispered.

"SHAZAM!" The hero said the evil wizard's name. The ambusher leapt off as a lightning bolt struck the hero, robbing him of his powers. The attacker pulled out his baton and struck the hero in mid-air, knocking him out. While the villain escaped away on a swingline, the hero fell to his death.

That morning, everybody gathered at the sight of Ultraman's stature. A note lay in front of it that read Fortune is tempting. Perhaps it's fate.

KitsuShel is dead. She was Scarab, a.k.a. Ted Kord, a blue costumed villain who hoped to increase his arsenal.

MSU is dead. He was Adam the Mighty, a.k.a. Teth-Adam, a black suited powerhouse and member of the Legion of Justice.

Day 2 begins now and will end at 6:00 PM, PST.

And it seems to me that Dumas was implying that both Owlman and the black-costumed man was "stealthy and a master of concealment and camoflauge", or else he wouldn't be able to see Owlman. And the first black costumed man with these attributes that came to my mind is logically Batman.

That was different. In VU Punisher fell right into my trap. Here I just made a simple blunder that had nothing to do with my role. That's what I get for sleeping only an hour last night.

Like I said, Star Saphire is normaly a villain, but in Earth 3 she is a hero. But like in VU, the villains are the town, and therefore heroes are mafia.

Hmm...Owlman dresses in blue-and-black but his equipment would let him see in the dark. Not sure about anyone else (and, oddly, for such a nasty group, they tend towards rather bright colours :laugh: ).

No, I don't think that either.

Here is how I think it went down.

Silver-blue (owlman?) trys to investigate Black (?) but is roleblocked by Pink Light (Star Saphire?)

But as we have no way of knowing who the person investigated is, the investigater should not out himself, as we wouln't get any useful info.

However, maybe they should out themself, as the mob now knows they are an investigater, and is likely to be their next hit.

I don't know.

Oh and a tiny thought, I wonder if the favor bank is going to com einto play in this game.

I think if Carlos wasn't Owlman we'd be hearing someone call him on it.

As for hating the person and being on our team, those are two fairly different things in Mafia so, yeah, Owlman may not be Ultraman's biggest fan - though note that he hasn't tried too hard to kill him in the comics either (too valuable a resource, I imagine) - but just as Guy doesn't work crossways with the League in JLA games, I think we can safely say Owlman is a Townie here.

That day, a villain with a different agenda was eliminated. That night, however, would be a bloodbath.

A small, meek villain searched for a place to hide. He was desperate to find salvation anywhere. Instead, he found death under a green-armored boot.

A woman in fishnets stood in the Metropolis cemetary. She saw the body of Ted Kord. He was a weak thief, virtually useless, but could be of some assisstance to the plight of the Syndicate.

With a wave of her fingers and some simple words, the hole in Scarab's chest closed up and he gasped for air as life returned to his eyes.

Two men bore witness to this event. One merely said "Hurm." and walked away, trying to hide his masked face beneath a fedora.

The other picked up a bow and arrow and fired at the woman. Gas released slowly from it, causing the woman to become drowsy and fall to the ground unconcious. Scarab merely ran for his life.

The visitor was concerned. He had no idea why, but a paper had been placed in his room without his knowledge. It read:

And now it is your turn!
Your turn to hear the shriek and then
Your turn to burn!

Then he heard something. A slight rustle outside of his room. It was troubling. He picked up his trident and aimed it at the door.

Silence passed.

Then the door was knocked in and a high-pitched scream filled his ears. He dropped to his knees and clutched at his scaly head before dropping to the ground.

The black suited man wandered the halls. Last night, his detection of the master of stealth was a fluke. Today, however, he had a tougher time.

He was halted in mid-step by a woman in black, whose lasso wrapped around his body and halted him from moving.

"You." She said bitterly. "You're the one who tried to find my teammate. Why?"

The black suited man merely said "I'm here to help."

They were interrupted by a woman with red hair. She was scantily clad and looking hungrily at the woman with the lariat.

"Follow me." She said, temptuosly.

"You get out of my sight this instant or I swear I will snap your scrawny little neck!" The woman in black spat furiously. The woman in red ran away, scared out of her wits.

"Now back to you..." She said, turning towards her captured victim. But she was amazed to find a crimson sticker plastered over his face. He had already suffocated.

A note was on his body that said:

A stealthy man went into the room of his target. Luckily, he was unconcious. It made things a lot easier and, more importantly, more fun.

Pulling out a lighter, he ignited it and dropped it as he left. The room was slow to blaze, but it eventually engulfed the resident in flames.

Drawing his signature weapon, the killer waited for his victim to reveal himself. Instantly, his weapon was taken from his hand with a gust of wind.

"I'lltakethisthanks!" A voice said, rushing past him and down the street.

"I've got to get rid of that speed juice." The killer remarked, not surprised at all by the results of his attempted murder.

Another weaponmaster strapped on his armor. He was determined to make things right, no matter the cost.

A high-pitched shriek filled his ears. He dropped to the ground and remained there for the night.

Scarab sat in his room. Dying hadn't changed his agenda; he had to further his research. And then a deep voice came into his head:

Without realizing it, he stood up, went out of his door and into the streets, but was stopped in his tracks by a lasso.

"Don't move; stay exactly where you are." A commanding voice said. Scarab didn't respond; he simply stared into nothingness.

The holder of the lasso then heard a familiar voice; the same woman from yesterday, with the same red costume and the same inviting look in her eye.

"Follow me." She said once again.

"How many times do I have to tell you?!" The lasso-wielder said. "I WON'T follow you!"

The woman left again, right before the lasso-wielder was hit by a flying green shaft of wood. Gas filtered out of the tip, knocking her unconcious.

And Scarab...Scarab just passed out in the middle of the street.

Chuck sat in his room, going over all the information he had gathered over the past few days. It was all connected: The death of Ultraman, the woman who brought back Scarab, the enigmatic clues...but how? What was the tie that brought all of them together.

He never got a chance to find out. His focus shifted to his throat and the fact that he was suffocating.

"That's cyanide that's filling your lungs." A voice said from behind him.

Chuck tried his best to fight back, but his opponent was too strong for him. He died, never getting his answers.

Elsewhere, Power Ring meditated in his room. He wasn't prone to something like that, but with the chaos of the revolution, he had to do anything to keep from going mad and, more importantly, to keep the damn spirit Volthoom from being right.

He began to feel a headache come on...but what was it from? There wasn't any reason he would have one...unless it was a mental assault!

Power Ring tried to bring up a mental shield, but it was too late; his eyes went blank, his nose began to bleed and he fell over, dead.

A large figure entered his room, plucked the Ring of Volthoom from the corpse's finger and left.
