Can we have a "Books" section in the popculture forums?!?
I'd love to have a place to talk about what we're reading, and give suggestions on things to read as well as what we thought about books we have already read!
I would love to talk Discworld, Sherlock Holmes, Conan, Pulp Novels, MYTH series and more with fellow members of these boards if they want to! ;)

Well till we get a forum, let's discuss things in here.....
What are you currently reading?!?

I just picked up BALTIMORE, Or, the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden.
I have not really red to far into it, but I am enjoying what I have read so far!

I am also reading Conan of Cimmeria right now. I feel silly because I have NEVER read Conan until recently (Read Solomon Kane though). I am really loving Howard's work here!

Read all the Kingdom of Landover books myself (got them signed by Brooks as well). They were OK, but they all seem to follow the same formula book after book.....
I prefer the Shannara series myself!

I read Terry Brooks forever ago. I enjoyed his writing for a while. Then I moved on.

Anyone read the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind? I really like that series.

Same with me. Enjoyed Brooks' writing for awhile and then....I wanted to read other things!

I have not read the Sword of Truth Series yet, but I believe I own at least 2 books from it....... Not sure....I have so many I buy or trade for and I mean to read them...but then something else catches my eye and I go off on a tangent!!

I'd be interested in reading a books sub-forum. I'm not into any books at the moment though so I'd liek to hear about what's good.
