Can a flying character, that is carrying a charcter, drop off that character and continue the rest of its movement if it has any?

Not under normal circumstances. A character that is being carried must begin and end their movement adjacent to the character doing the carrying.
The only times that this might not apply is if the taxi is a Giant, in which case the character may be dropped two squares away, or the taxi runs through a Seperation Field.
Eventually, we will probably see some Special Powers that change this.
