Naruto Mafia

Hey all, I promised myself to put up a sign up for a Naruto mafia though I don't know howmany on the realms are fans I decided to give it a shot.... It's projected start date won't be until mid to late Jan. To give me time to tweak the roles I have set-up.

I have planned 20 max slots though I will start with 15 and increase if their is enough interest.

P.S: This is my first attempt at modding a mafia so please bear with me if you have any tips I would gladly accept them, also if anyone wants to help me mod I will also accept that help.

oh, and this Mafia will be set around episode 101-110 but it is not completly restrained to that also alot a things will be changed from the naruto storyline things though I will try to stay in continuity for the most part.

I just watched the American version and realized how much I hate how they changed all of the phrases and edited out anything that they find even slightly inappropriate. While the lack of any blood is annoying I'm just pissed how they handled the Drunken Lee situation. It hurts me on the inside :cry: .

At least most of the fighting stayed the same :squareeye (I always wanted to use that emoticon).

Yeah I know it's a bit depressing, though the american versopn is what got me hooked onto it, and then I had to watch the beginning and after that I switched to watching the Japanese versions.

I mean, if you just took the Chunin Exam group and only took students, that's still the rookie 9, team guy, the sand siblings, the sound ninjas, and Kabato's team, making 21 characters.

But even then, you'd want to deviate a bit to allow more freedom of roleclaiming so I'd think this theme would work best with 25 players.

I'm not trying to convince you to not run a mafia game, I just don't want you to underdo a great theme.

I'd like to think I've ran several good mafia games.

I ran one not good one (not here) and I wished I had just not done it in the first place. The timing was wrong and the theme was wrong and now I'm having a harder time getting people to sign up for another mafia game IRL because of it.

I won't sign up for a game run by Ross... (no offense to him) because of the way his last one turned out.

Better to put something like this off and do it right than to rush it and do it wrong.

Now, if Yosip thinks he can do this game right with only 10 people, more power to him.

I was hoping to do so... but circumstances have forced me to run a much smaller game, my infamy and the fact that not very many seem to have much interest in naruto and that I am a newb in mafia games. If someone wants to take up the mantle who has a better reputation in modding then I will allow them to but for now this will encompass a limited span of characters unforutunatly.

I am so sorry everyone, but this mafia will NOT be happening. :( Along with the lack of interest and other things something very traumatic happened this week and I will only be on the realms minimally for awhile (at least a week and a half maybe more) Though I really wanted to do this it is not working, again I am sorry for those of you who really looked forward to this, maybe someone 10000000 times better than I will do a naruto mafia sometime in the future.
