This is for just random comments about books you just read, want to read, heard about, or what not.

So I just finished Michael Crichton's Next. It was interesting and a fun read, but not a great book.

I''m looking for some books to pick up. From classics to contemporary it's all cool.

So what about everyone else?

I just finished Reading Deen Koontz's Frankenstein Book One: The Prodigal Son. Good read. I like Koontz a lot and can't wait to pick up book two.

Today I read Tim Lihoreau's Book of Modern Phobias. A Litany of Contemporary Fears, which I got as a present yesterday.
It's quite funny, but it's not a book one should read from cover to cover in one day. That's too much of the same thing.
Since I have some kind of phobia about not finishing things (not listed in the book, although there are plenty of other phobias listed that I seem to have) I couldn't put it aside, though.

I just re-read Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher. While not my favorite, it still is a haunting tale of Mystery and Suspence.

I've discovered I like Koontz a lot as a quick easy read to just relax. He has a fun writing style.

Agreed 100%. His Odd Thomas books are fantastic, especially the first one.

Frankenstein is great fun. Especially if you read the original by Shelly.

I've read the original (prefer Stoker's Dracula, actually), but I have been meaning to check Koontz's version.
