Help!

Okay, so I'm currently in the process of writing Pirates of the Caribbean roles, and I've come up with a "ship" mechanic.

So, as I was working with this mechanic (and I'm actually still tinkering with it), I realized that two captains have shared the same ship: Both Barbossa and Jack Sparrow piloted the Black Pearl.

So, here's what I need help with. Does anyone know of a ship that could replace the Black Pearl for either of them? I know Jack and Will stole the H.M.S Interceptor, but that's all I gots.

Any thoughts?

Barbossa's only captained the Black Pearl in the films.

Jack's had the Intercepter and his two lil' dinghys that bookend the series. That's it as far as I know.

Yeah, the Black Pearl just seems better when captained by Barbossa. :)

That's what I was thinking. The only reason I was considering giving Jack the Pearl because it was his ship before, and his main reason for really even being in the films (initially)

You could always make up a different ship for Jack Sparrow. I mean, he is a career pirate. I am sure that he has hijacked a ship or two in his time at sea.

Plus, if Barbossa has the Pearl, it's always good to add a win condition to Jack of getting back his ship.

All I have to add to that is,

This makes the most sense to me. While Jack can start with the Interceptor, the Pearl is his baby, he'll do just about anything to get it back.

Possession is eleven tenths of the pirate law. 'Twas Barbossa's post-mutiny, no matter what Sparrow or squidface thinks. I agree on givin' Jack the Intercepter or a dinghy. :)

Why not give Barbossa the Black Pearl, and give Sparrow the Wicked Wench, and consider them two different ships? By all rights, they were two different ships in the end, for two different purposes. The Pearl didn't exist until the Wicked Wench was brought up and rechristened. It was never the same ship.
