Star Trek: The Next Generation Mafia Signup

It was a mostly normal day on the USS Enterprise-D. The ship and her crew was on an easy mission to transport ambassador Spock to his next diplomatic mission, and had yet to encounter any problems. Everything looked to be proceeding smoothly. Of course, there wouldn’t be much to talk about if thing went the way they were supposed to. No, instead, the Enterprise decided to take a sudden stop. So sudden, in fact, that the interial compensators designed to keep people from getting crushed as the ship moved at faster than light speeds were unable to fully compensate. And as people fell to the floor, the red alert signal activated automatically, as while Enterprise did not know what it was that had cause it to stop, it did know that there was something amiss. It was a smart ship, after all.

“Report!” said Riker, fulfilling his duties as the senior officer on the bridge, as Picard had taken advantage of the easy trip to engage in some holodeck time.

“Ships sensors show that we are…nowhere.”

Riker was obviously perplexed as Data followed his orders. And why shouldn’t he have been? Everyone has to be somewhere.

“What?”
“It could be that the sensors were damaged by whatever it was that caused us to stop, but as they are reading now, the Enterprised is nowhere. At least nowhere that the sensors know how to read.”

And just like that, the questions running through his head as to what could have possibly caused this were answered in a flash of light as behind him, in the captains chair, a familiar face appeared.

“Q.”

All he got in response was a smile. A large smile that could have only been achieved by someone with powers such as Q had. It was that unnaturally large.

And it made clear that he was up to no good.

Well, January is here, Christmas break is over, and so I begin my attempt at hosting a mafia game. Keep in mind that I’ve never hosted a mafia game, so this will kind of be a self-designated hands on training. If you choose to join and I don’t do so well, please don’t hate me too much.

LOL. For tell the true ,a lot of people "confirm" the first day phase of the game posting in the thead game.

I just want to make sure we don't start only to have too many people decide to go missing right as the game has begun.

Besides, I've only got 6 more PMs to receive, so it shouldn't be too long. I think I've gotten enough PMs at this point that I'll start Sunday or Monday even if I don't get every last one.
