Sorry guys, I didn't anticipate to be this far out my depths with the players selecting their own characters thing.

I've done powers and stuff, trying to be character accurate, but the synergy is just not there.

I think it would make for a better game if roles were distributed randomly as usual.

If anyone wants to drop out in light of this, feel free to do so.

You'll definitley have to atleast reveal peoples picks at the end of the game, even if you don't roleify all of them.

I did the same thing... I knew I would have a slim chance to play the person I wanted to play and I didn't even pick someone like thor or Cap I picked someone while moderatly powerful in my eyes he wasn't to bad.

If you want to randomize roles like normal I would be fine with that,but maybe make the roles the people picked a part of the game instead Ex: Fake Townie #1 wants himself to be Shadowcat then you would have shadow cat be a role that is randomly distributed this allows the random people you picked still have a large inpact on the game but hopefully not unbalancing the game.

Except I think ABF is saying the roles were serving to be unbalancing just in making them work within the context of the game; making it just so that they're part of the random role assignment wouldn't change that.
