who else is pissed about mole man and moloids?

V moleman feated up and a swarm of moloids is by far one of my favorite teams and yet they dont have the same keywords thus not making it a "theme team". i hate that, granted having a dozen or so probs would be a bit insane.

There's always house rules.
If someone tried to play that at my venue I would probably acknowledge it as a theme team but maybe give them a reduced bonus.

The PC bonus could just be capped at a certain amount. Rule of 3 sounds good.

But theme swarm teams should have the same allotment to make up for their low AV and such.

I hope as time goes on WK changes some of these theme rules.

i dont really even care about the bonuses. i just want to be able to play this team when the game calls for all to have the same keyword.

on a side note, i really hope we get a mole monster sometime. i usually toss on V Atlus and put laz pit on him. he makes a fairly good replacement and laz pit is kinda like a second one coming up.

Since they're all retired, your judge should allow it if he has half a clue. I wouldn't fret.

The other half a clue should tell him that 13 theme team PC uses is a bit excessive. (That's the most you can get with a 300-pt. Mole Man/Moloid team. ;) )

It is kinda silly that Mole Man + Moloids doesn't equal 'theme team'. You can't get much more themey.

If you run theme you get the bonus. Period!
The bnonus was put there so people could stop running cheap ####.
Mole man and a bunch of moloids is a theme. I dont even like marvel and i think that is a cool team. They do need all the help they can get though so there is nothing wrong with 13 PC's.

It is annoying that none of the old Mole Men have the 'monster' keyword. I really prefer them to the new one, is for nothing else than the ability to hurt people with Invul/Imperv. The front loaded MM is nice too.

However....at least you can run the new Mole Man with a mixture of both old and new Moloids and get a theme team. You just need to include Armor Piericing as well.
