500 points mutant theme

hi, this is my team to a 500 points tournament:

I'm not so sure that this should be in this thread, but since it says we can discuss theme team strategies here i suppose it's ok.:rolleyes:

A mutant theme! Honestly? I'll remove streak of luck and throw coordination on Prof X, with Coordination on him, you won't have to worry about not having your mutant figures within line of sight, as long as they have the same team abilites and are within 10 squares you can see them no problem.

Mental shields and coordination work wonders on Emma Frost, so they'd have the same effect on Professor X. Use cerebro on Every Mutant keyword. With Coordination you can see through your X-men TA'd figures and see both Scarlet witch and Living Monolith (though he is a giant to begin with), if anyone gets to close you can mindcontrol them with Xavier or incap them and allow your other mutants to do the work for you.:)

You just have to be careful with Professor X, characters that also have the X-men TA will see right through your other X-men TA figures as well.

beast has streak of luck, because, ii take the action token of prof x .....

emma frost has low range , and i use prof x for the range 12 and mental control....

the strategy is, tk prof x, put near it beast, perplex attak or range , mental control, one piece and then i use the other piece, living monolith is giant , this is true but it has a earthbound on first click, then i can carry it whith a flight piece....

Emma was just an example.:p So imagine what professor X can do unimpeded by X-men TA'd friendlies. Well it's just a suggestion. It will work with your Mindcontrol idea, trust me on this, i've done it several times and it works like a charm.:)

Streak of luck will only affect the character it's assigned on though, so i still don't get how beast will take the token for professor X.:ermm:

in this way the beast has half value of prof and it take the action token..

Ok, i think this has to be moved to the Combat formations thread already.:noid:

However, i don't think adding feats to the character will be necessary to allow beast to recieve the token from Prof X. He's still 131 points and beast is 76 (131/2 is 65.5), that alone qualifies beast to be used for warbound with prof X. I may be wrong so you should check the tactics thread for how to properly use warbound.
