I'm unable to post at crofty's forum, Has anyone heard what the AU street release date is for Crisis ?

Hoping to pick up at least a brick as close to the date as possible

Nothing mentioned about Crisis on the forum.

I'm mostly worried about not being eligible for "worlds finest". I have always mailed away to the states (even thou posatge is steep).

I've posted a query at wizkids to see if a small amount will be put aside for overseas customers

I have been told by my Judge who has been in contact with Crofties that they are expecting it tomorrow and will be shipping out ASAP for this week's tournaments.

Tin Soldier on Tork Street and Kings Comics on Pitt Street in Sydney had Crisis today.

Tin Soldier has totally sold out (multiple brick buyers plus an impromptu sealed tournament), but Kings may have some left, and any other venues around Sydney have a decent chance of getting stock in this week.

So anyone elsehave trouble getting crisis in. Unlimited hobbies in Blacktown didn't get their stock and were told crofty can't spare them much anyway. I've just gone the ebay route for my crsis stuff. Given up on Crofty maybe or maybe not coming through. I wonder what the odds are our prize support was caught up in the prize support problems for Crisis?

SGC in Burwood got some stock in, but dramatically underestimated how much they'd sell so quickly - I think it's all gone now (not before they made a pretty serious customer service blunder, too).

There will probably be shops around the place that get boosters in, but ordering from OS may end up being quicker - and if you can get good shipping, reasonably priced - than searching around.

If you don't need all the SRs, just pick up the CURs and your favourite SRs from eBay - it'll be pretty cheap.

Yep that's what i did. Turned out the store was only getting one case anyway. They underestimated how much would be wanted too. I didn't want to buy up the entire stock at the expense of everyone else when it does arrive. I did what you suggested. Got a c/u/v set and the one sr I was really interested in for much less than the retail price of a brick, postage included. Even most rares are going for a buck or 2. All I'll need to get later are the cards and event dials, which aren't that impressive really, and i'll see what other super rares I can trade for. I just don't know how we're going to manage floor events with barely any stock.

Sealed events, on the other hand? Andrew was talking about the possibilities of more sealed or semi-sealed with the SGC guys after our sealed on Sunday, but frankly if there's nothing new from CM in the next month then I don't see it being possible. Who really wants to buy another booster of Avengers or Justice League right now?

Maybe more stock will come in soon and none of this will be an issue. Otherwise, check out eBay and the trade lists of people who did manage to grab a bit - I know that I'm usually happy to move duplicates to people who'll actually use them in return for a smaller number of figures that I need.

####, still none, Just found out Crofys does not ship Melbourne orders till last, if there are any left. :( , Looks like no worldsfinest or crisis figures for me, seeing how quickly it sold out else where.

(this is one of the first sets where I pretty much want every SR in the set, So it is going to be stupidly expensive to get it on thew secondry market)

I'm not worried for myself, I'll have stuff. I'm worried about all the casual players who'll turn up next game day and not be able to buy boosters because we got a limited amount and it's soldout and there's no more coming. The first one or two players to go in will have it all. IF it arrives at all. Most of my playgroup don't get on ebay or have much cash to buy a lot. Normally in the worst case scenerio I buy 1 to 2 cases of each set so I have enough doubles to go round and help out the kids. Because of this stuff up I'll have my c/u/r set and that's it. I've given up on getting a chase superman.

How does that happen? Aren't Crofty IN melbourne. Shouldn't you get yours first? My venue wanted to up their order and were told that Crofty is sold out and can't get more. I really hope they did save you some. I can normally handle getting sets a bit late if I at least know it's coming and there'll be stuff to buy eventually. But when it's doubtful there'll be enough to go around, AND its late. Not good. Who at Crofty thought only ordering half a dozen cases or so for all of Australia was a good idea? I hate to screw over my local. I've bought at least one case from him since Legacy. I don't know if I'm willing to risk croftys distribution again though. I might just buy my cases online from now on.

You would think that, but for some reason they always appear well after the fact. Both guys I spoke to were quite irritated at croftys, I remember with M&M it took about a week to appear after syd got theres.

On the plus side you do find some interesting things appearing after the fact (aliens and Predator Boxes, Invinicbles, GL and 2099, and Old boxes of legacy can be found if you know where to look.)

Hopefully they have put some aside, Otherwise it will be very expensive leaving me to reconsider my collecting

You've got to be KIDDING ME!

Aaron, are you telling me that Alt Worlds got there's in on Tuesday arvo? Because I pre-ordered TWO CASES from there and they told me today that they still hadn't recieved stock. I was really hoping to get the World's Finest (really no chance now). I called them on Monday, and again today. Bloody liars. I'm really tempted to call them and cancel my order.

Or was it only Mind games that got it?

I am so annoyed right now either way. Croftminster.......AAAAERGHHH!

And I ordered them weeks ago too, and told JOE to call me as soon as they get them in. Well that's about the usual level of customer service I'm used to from him.

Even if he'd just put aside one brick out of his first shipment, that would be fine, but now there is really no chance of getting WF.
