I just recently got the rooftop map, and if you know me, you know I love to build based on maps.
In order to reliably build around a map, you need to run theme so you never miss that map roll. That being the case, what's the best theme to run on the roofs?
Things to keep in mind:
-Knocking people off roofs is a huge advantage, in that it deals damage (in some cases without an attack roll), and it repositions them (in a way you can plan for).
-As such, Force Blast is pretty good to have as an option (no roll required).
-Quake is also powerful, for being able to deal damage AND hit multiple people off a roof.
-TK is helpful to get a figure with Quake or Force Blast exactly where you need them, or to throw an opposing figure to just about any of the 4 fall segments.
-Charge or Double Bases are helpful so you don't fall victim to your own tricks.
-Low Gravity can help, but be careful with it (use with Charge and Double Base figs).
Right now, I've found the Thunderbolts offer a lot of good benefits, and can even be T-bolted to Crusade (if need be) to do more knockback. They have an amazing Quake fig in Atlas, a TKer in Songbird, a double base in Hawkeye V, and quite a bit of Force Blast from Techno. If needed, you could run Shrunk to make Atlas TKable, but I don't think it's necessary.
Any other great theme teams for throwin' people around?
Also, would Vault allow you to follow the guy from your attack knocking him off the roof to his respawn area at a ladder?
