I saw this article the other day. Interesting read, but based upon the writer's comments, I don't really see it as becoming mainstream.

Mead is ambrosia, and melomel is even tastier.
I hope stores start stocking it regularly, you can sometimes find it in classy wine shops. I get mine from a local farmer who raises his own honeybees and makes it from scratch. He only bottles up the stuff every few years or so, which means I don't get nearly the supply I want of it.
Mead & amontillado are two of my special occasion drinks of choice.

Best fact from that article: There's over 100 mead producers just in the US!!!
Now, there's 100 places I gotta get to (a bunch are also wineries I'm guessing, so fun for thew whole family)!

listen, if Homer can let Maggie drive, I'm sure I can let Emma drive...she's three and has never tried to shot stab, maim or drop a rock on anybody so she's much more mature than a cartoon baby!

mine sure didn't... I've had the same AD&D character sheets sitting in those folders since 1995. That thing held up WELL !
