I'd like to use Possession with a keyword thematic team that is still competative.

My choices are

Deadman

Team: Mystics
Range: 0 :bolt:

Keywords: Mystical, Sentinels of Magic, Seven Soldiers

I'd definitely go with Jericho. Deadman is pretty much a one-trick pony - he is only good for Possession. Jericho can do other things as well if necessary - his Perplex can be very useful for instance.

Any particular point total you have in mind?

I'd really like to set it up for Floor at 300-400pts. Though I'd entertain teams that are non-floor, but I'd still like to keep it to restricted figs.

If you want a keyword Floor team then Jericho is definitely the way to go - the only option to get Deadman on a KFT is to pair him up with Klarion, Mordru, Tempest, Trigon, and/or Spectre on a Mystical theme.
So Jericho it is, and that also means it has to be a Teen Titans keyword team (OK, so you could play three Jerichos on a Wildebeest Society team... but let's ignore that.)

Nightwing 79
C Wonder Girl 60
E Atom 52
Kid Flash 45
E CD Speedy 35
399 points. Don't know if it will do well, but it could be worth trying out.
