hey... we gots a 'for fun' 500 point tourny friday and, for an animal team I'm looking to fill 60 points. Now, I could just slap Thwarts & AP on Mallah & the Brain, Shake off & AP on Devil Dinosaur & MB, and add the 15 point monkey-with-machinegun pog from Avengers.... Or I could try to find someone with a Team Ability to help out the super apes.

Anyone know of some good 60 point guys with Animal for the Keyword and a Team Ability?

Autoregen and pounce on Lizard, Thwart on Ultrahumanite, nanobots on Gar Logan then Protected on Krypto and Kraven the Spider and you are set...

ie. It's real hard to give suggestions when you are not posting your team.

Edit: But if you are just looking for a guy to use TAs from, I like SS with E Vixen, it gives you some durability

60 points animal theme team ...umm 2099 Ravage He's mean, or Experienced animal man ftwlol.

Your only TA options are Suicide Squad (E Vixen), Injustice League (Barbara Ann Minerva), Batman Enemy (R + E Man Bat From Hyper Time and E Man Bat from Icons or R Killer Croc). Or your choice of many different free move TA's. But having said this the REV of Tigra id all Avengers TA so you can TBolt it to what ever your fancy.

The Rookie after TBolting is 45 points so you can still play around with some of the feats the Vet would be 59 points total.

This would be my choice if I was looking to make the most of the Doom TA's.

You also get access to X-Men and Titans TA but there hardly game breaking.

It is difficult to provide some suggestions without seeing your team.

That being said, I second that getting a TA for the Killer Monkeys to copy should be your first choice.

However, if you're not interested in that, then I'd look at Kraven The Spider with Pounce -- for 54 points, he's a KILLER Pouncer. His first click is, with Pounce, 11 Attack, 3 Damage, and then on his second click (when he's based with his Pounce target) a 16 Def w/ CR. Another push and he's on Stealth with Willpower and CCE.

For 10 more points, he can be a great Nanobotter for you.
